Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 31Excellent Deal!
This hotel is really nice, on the beach, pool, close to everything on the main strip, and it has it's own pier with fishing, gift shop, and place to eat. We loved the beach, and plan on going back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 31The price is right
The bathroom toilet was a bit noisy...not sure why the water runs for about 5 seconds every hour...it's annoying when you're trying to sleep. The pools were also small but considering how much I paid for our stay and how clean our room was, I am very satisfied with the hotel.

Far exceeded expectations for the price.

For the price we paid, this was an excellent hotel. It wasn't very crowded the week we were there (end of August when schools were going back in session), so it was very relaxing.

Hotel was in good shape and fairly clean. Great location, beach was quick to get to with several access points close by. Parking was easy in the parking deck. Would definately recommend it.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 31Loved the place.
Our room was in the Live Oak section, right next to the Springmaid Pier. There is 3 different hotels in the one complex. It's away from the heavy traffic. Kind of surrounded by golf courses and the Park so it's pretty quiet. Our room was on the 5th floor in the center part so we could look directly at the ocean instead of at an angle. The indoor pool was right there below our room. You have access to 8 different pools. We parked in the garage right under our building but even if you have to park accross the street it's still in a garage. We bought food at the grocery and never had to eat out even though there is a restuarant on the property. It's a short drive to shopping areas.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the pier was amazing! There were a lot of children running around, but it was a great family get away!!

We planned this trip basicly around and focused on the beach with a good hotel not the best but a good decent rate hotel. This hotel has such good ratings and we were very disappointed. The room was okay, what I imagined and everything. I brought my laptop and used the internet earlier that day, later that night I tried to use the internet and it was down so I delt with it then later it started storming so we turned on the little 22 inch TV and it was nothing but snow. They had not updated the TV in that room for the digital transition but when we look ed out on the balcony other rooms were watching TV on big plasma screens. So we watched the rain all night and watched as our front hotel door let water in flooding our room and kitchen. The next morning we complained and got a new room and free breakfast. It turns out that that first room we were in was not suppose to be given out yet. The second room was just as bad, it was flooded and the tub was backed up too lol. If it wasn't for the beach we really would have had a horrible time.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 31Great for the price
This is a very nice hotel. The room was big, clean and I loved the private location with ample parking. The security was excellent. The only negative I have about this hotel is the bed. It was hard lumpy and just about killed me. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. Great family hotel. Very quiet not a "party" hotel.

This hotel is excellent if you are looking for a simple, affordable hotel. The hotel is equipped with multiple pools and lazy rivers for your entertainment. The Springmaid Pier is also right on the beach for your enjoyment as well. The only real problem that I saw on my stay was the hard mattress. (You may want to bring a mattress pad with you.) Even so, I still highly recommend this hotel to Myrtle Beach vacationers.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 31Fantastic Hotel
I really enjoyed my stay at Springmaid Beach Hotel. Great price, great location, beautiful view, very clean room, and staff was very helpful. I loved everything about my stay and my boyfriend and I plan on coming to myrtle beach at least twice a year and staying at springmaid hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. My only complaint is the broken elevator that was closest to our room, but the few extra steps to the next one was no problem to walk.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 31Outstanding hotel
My husband and I went to Springmaid for the weekend and we had a great time. It is on the Grand Strand but far enough down that it is very quiet at night. It is on the water and the view was great. I will stay there again and I have told all of my friends about it. The rates are great too.
