Great price, great location, outstanding service.

The Shinagawa Prince Hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Shinagawa Train Station which can take you almost anywhere in Japan. The Hotel it self is nestld within a shopping district with great restaurants, shops, movie theater, bowling alley and even an indoor aquarium. It is a great location and great price for the area. I would especially recommended it for families. There was one downside the twin rooms in the North Tower are very small, but never the less comfortable. The staff where very nice and supremely accomidating. I was most definetly satisfied with the service and my room.

Excellent Location!

Prince Shinagawa is a wonderful hotel! The staff is very helpful and has a many conveniences in and outside of hotel premises. It is right in front of Shinagawa train station which makes it possible to go anywhere in Japan! I like that they have the airport shuttle pick up/drop off service, Yahoo cafe, many restaurants nearby, etc... I will stay at this hotel again!

Good Room

The room was great given the location and proximity of the hotel to the JR station. Staff is nice, professional and easy to work with. The only problems I had with the hotel and the room was that the halls looked dirty for a upscale hotel in Tokyo. And the other problem was that the use of the Internet was not free in the room that I got but was available in renovated rooms, which was a bit unfair.

I was on the 35th floor and view was very nice but room are very tight as Japanese standard i guess.

Great value!

Hotel is right across the street from the train station, very convenient. Several convenience stores, restaurants ranging from fast food restaurants to fine dining are either within the hotel complex or just outside. Stayed in the remodeled tower, room was a good size, very clean and comfortable bed- plus free wi-fi.

Unbeatable location for convenient access to Tokyo and train lines

Rooms in the North tower needs a upgrade... Visible mold in bathroom cabin, old and worn furniture and condition.

Great hotel with great service

This hotel is great. I stayed in both the East Tower and the Main Tower. The East Tower is more budget, but was still great. The room was very clean, had a very nice bathroom, and the desk staff was very helpful (although a bit of a language barrier, but very friendly). The Main Tower is less of a budget hotel and is very nice. The staff, again, was very helpful. The hotel is attached to a mall, which has a Yahoo! Internet cafe that is relatively cheap. There are two main subway stations nearby that make it easy to get to just about anywhere you want to go. I certainly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location which across from the train station. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the hotel and nearby. The hotel needs to be renovated. It's alright but the rooms and hallways are showing its age.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, perfect location

When I was looking for a place to stay in Tokyo, this hotel looked great as far as location and amenities, but the 2 and 1/2 star rating was a little off-putting. Well I decided to take a chance and stay anyway, and I am glad I did. I think the 2 and 1/2 stars were before they remodeled the entire hotel. If I had to rate this hotel I would rate it at least a full star above what hotels.com has it at. 3 and 1/2 or 4 stars. also, they have a restaurant/bar on the 39th floor of the main tower that has an incredible view of the city. I highly recommend this hotel.
