Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 25Location, Location, Location
We chose this hotel because it was very close to the JR Line AND was listed on the Viator Tour Group list of hotels they would pick up at. It also had a bus to take us to the Narita Airport at the end of our trip. It was so easy to get around from this hotel. Yes, the rooms were small, but very nice and very clean. At the last minute my son decided to join us and he had a room in the annex that was also very nice. There were plenty of restaraunts in the hotel and nearby. Would definately reccomend this hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 25North Tower a disappointment
The location of the Shinagawa Prince Hotel being conveniently located right next to the Tokyo Shinagawa Station was great. However the accommodations in the North Tower were very disappointing. To be taken in through the front lobby of the beautiful main tower and then brought to "back" of the property to what I would consider to be a mere business hotel was very disappointing. The room was very, very small, and conditions of the room were left to be desired. There was actually mildew and mold in the bathroom. For a Prince Hotel, I had exptected much more. I would hope that the conditions of the Main Tower rooms are better than the North Tower. I may consider staying there in the future, but never again in the North Tower.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 25Good hotel for the money
We got a deal by staying an extra day. Rooms in the north tower are small, but served the purpose. All we really did was sleep there. The hotel has plenty of amenities if you need them. The hotel is across from the train station, which is convenient, but the subway station is about a 15 minute walk the other direction.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 25Great location and rooms
We spent 9 nights in Tokyo. We stayed on the 35th floor of the main tower. The rooms are remodeled and clean. They are very small - just big enough for two people but fine. The beds are comfortable. We had free internet access. The location is terrific - right across from the JR train station. All major stops are within a 10-15 minute ride (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shimashi, Tokyo, etc). The restaurants around the area are good. Our two favorites were the izakaya next to the bowling alley and the dinner buffet @ Luxe.

Great location, staff is friendly, rooms are clean and very helpful. Every time I visit I stay at Shinagawa Prince for the great location. The train station is right across the street, shopping area such as yurakucho, ginza and shibuya are very close.

Very good quality for the price. I stayed over there 2 time and I'd stayed again should the need arise. Personnell is very helpful in solving any matter even beyond their duties. Vladimir

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 25Best Location in Tokyo!!!!
Located by the train station and easy access to hotel and train makes this a great location for tourist. My first trip to Japan and this hotel was highly recommended to me by my Japanese friend who visits Tokyo 3-4 times a year.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 25Convenient location
Located across of the JR Railway-Shinagawa station, it was quiet convenient for getting around Tokyo. The only draw back was that there were no subway connection thus you will have to take the train then transfer to the subway system to get to specific areas of interest. Rooms were small compared to US but that should be expected. This hotel had an entertainment complex that had bowling alleys, a aquarium, a theater, whale/dolphin show along with other activities that were convenient when the kids got restless. Besides the train station eateries (which were good), there isn't much places to eat at besides hotel restaurants (which can be cost prohibitive).

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 25Good hotel, but not much to do in the area
The hotel was close to the train station. There were limited places to eat within walking distance. The hotel has a movie theater, but if you don't understand Japanese, that is a problem. The rooms were small, but comfortable. The hotel has an upscale mall, but no souvenir shops within walking distance.
