Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 141Just what we wanted
a renovated motel surrounding a nice outdoor pool and hot tub. something a little different style wise, which we liked. Close to downtown, North Mtn.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 141Ok hotel with a great restaurant
Friendly staff; we had problem with the safe but they replaced it promptly. Shower tub was very old, peeling, and flaky with old cigarette burnt and I was disgusted by it. The rest of the hotel was cute and colorful. The restaurant was great for the buck. Perfect small portion and delicious food!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 141Nice Hotel
Loved the decor of the hotel. Its not too large....really nice and quaint. Yet, my bathroom tub needed replacing....the bottom looked dirty, but I think it was simply from being old and overused. The pool was really nice.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 141Lipstick on a pig
This place tried really hard, but I constantly thought of the 2008 campaign saying: "you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig". This place had a lot of lipstick, but the TV made a screeching noise and died and the AC sounded like a lawnmower. I should have paid another $50 for one of the chain resorts nearby.

The renovation looks unfinished. Coffee maker in my room was very dirty.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 141Nice room for the money
Hotel Personnel very nice. Hotel policy about food and beverage should have been displayed on this site. Very disappointed about that. The view ground floor poolside leaves a lot to be desired. Otherwise, the room was okay w/nice bed and clean sheets and pillows and TV.

extremely nice hotel. Old but nice. My room was upgraded right there and than only because their fax machine did not work and they did not get my booking from hotels.com. clean, cool and the bar was great.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 141Nice hotel with good atmosphere
Located in a very "friendly" area. I was welcomed and assisted as needed. Joel was extremely helpful with questions about sites and resturants. The pool was a great surprise. Very clean, quite and with the hotel being a smaller property did not have to worry about lots of people or kids at the pool. They did miss making my wakup call so almost missed my flight but other than that will stay there again next time in Phoenix

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 141Great room for the money
The hotel was great for the money but the air conditioner unit didn't cool the room. I stayed there 8 nights...and it wasn't until the 4th night that I call the front desk to get a fan at 430 am. Once I got that it was not bad at all. :)

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 141Convenient
The location is excellent and the summer rates ar very competitive. The room air conditioner was extremely noisy and disturbed our sleep. If we were to stay there again, we would carefully check out the air conditioning unit first.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 141Very cool hotel
This hotel was an awesome value and a great places to stay. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and the pool is amazing. We enjoyed both the pool and hanging out at the roof top lounge. This is a great place to unwind and its access to the highway system makes it a good launching place for outdoor activities.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 141Awsome Hotel
We appreciated this hotel and its staff who gave us a great pleasure to know them and the wonderful hotel. The decoration is out of this world, model and artistic. The restaurant is outstanding. We really enjoy our time at Clarendon, Phoenix. This hotel really a treasure of this town and the price is outstanding. Thank you hotel.com and thanks Clarendon's.
