Ocean Sands Beach Resort

The worst hotel I have ever seen let alone stayed at.

The Ocean Sands was by far the worst hotel that I have EVER in my life stayed at. I paid for 2 nights and only stayed one because of how filthy and disgusting the hotel as a whole was. The hotel was dirty, the television didn't work, the phone in the room didn't work. The housekeeper didn't make the beds. The vending machines and video games were broken and looked like they came from 1972. The elevator didn't work properly and was constantley wet on the floors with no warning sign. The hotel owner was rude and wasn't willing to give us a room with a working t.v and phone. The police were there arresting people out front when we arrived and the next morning when we went down to the beach. It was a complete disaster and Im disgusted in the fact that you would allow such a hotel to advertise on your website. You should have some guidlines of who you allow to advertise on your site because frankly I will never use this site to book a hotel again because you obviously have no idea the cleanliness of the hotels that advertise on your site and the ad was completley misleading.

not so bad

A little run down. Indoor pool was nice. Customer service was helpful. Amazing view. Needs a fresh coat of paint. Access to beach was great. Close to EVERYTHING. Good for the money. Will probably go again for that short weekend get away.

It provided shelter

This hotel is exactly what you expect from the reviews. If you go thinking you are going to get a top of the line hotel, then this is not the hotel for you. If you just need somewhere cheap to stay for the race, or would like to go down and have more money to spend on other things besides the room, then this might be a hotel for you. We went with very little expectations for this place and it was fine. If I needed to go again and stay in a cheap affordable place. I would probably stay here again. But I will bring my towels, pillows, and blankets with me again.

couldn't beat the view from the balcony.... couldn't find a better room for the price.

"KNOCK IT DOWN"

The Hotel and room was fithy dirty. You had to sleep with one eye open for fear of pest and rodants. We couldnt even receive extra sheets to help cover stains and burn holes in mattres and pillows!!! This even became comical for the hotel staff, they too realize their product was JUNK!!!

Great room for the money

We were very impressed that we had such a really nice room over looking the ocean cause We booked the room last minute. Also we liked that had a little kitchenette so we made our own breakfast in the morning.

Nasty Holel

This hotel was so nasty, we did not even take a shower due to the mold and mildew. The sliding glass door did not open. There was no shampoo. Forget about no coffee, at that point it did not matter. I was physically sick from the filth.
