Good budget hotel but a long way from downtown Boston

Staff were pleasent and helpful, room was spacious and clean - no fault with the hotel itself. The location was too far from the city centre if your looking to visit and you don't have a car.

Great location for a no-frills stay in Boston

The hotel staff was extremely helpful in check-in and check-out, setting up the airport shuttle for us and calling to be sure we were on our way to catch it. It was quite conveniently located close to a T - stop and a short ride to the airport. There was no charm in the neighborhood but Boston makes up for that once you step off the T.

comfortable

THe bed was great. The subway was only a short walk away, but there was alot of road construction delays. The shuttle to the airport was prompt and easy. And warm cookies when you arrive. Top shelf service.

Good room for the money

Not as close to the underground/train as they say. No restaurants within walking distance except a small very limited food service at the hotel. Fine for breakfast and maybe lunch, but not dinner.

Great Hotel - Outstanding bed

This hotel was great for us! We didn't want to pay a lot of money so we didn't mind to stay outside of the city and ride the subway into downtown. The bed was really comfortable! Lots of pillows! They give you warm cookies when you check in. The people were nice, they helped us with directions when we needed it. The only bad things is the location. You do have to ride the subway into the city but the subway is really close to the hotel so its not far to walk to. The bay area behind the hotel was really nice to walk to and see the city from the bay.

smoething more needed

a flood happened in my bathroom at 1 am, the sent the maintenance guy and fix the problem immediately, but I was waiting someone to mob the floor till the next morning! if that did not happen i will give the hotel a 4 full stars!

Clean and engough size room

clean and comfortable. Mostly my family were in hotel at night for sleep. So we didn't need any nice facilities. If you just stay for sleep then this hotel is good. Need more computers for business center.

Great location - close to subway

Great location

The location was perfect very close to where our daughter lives so the commute wasn't bad at all.

"Not a pleasurable experience"

My wife and I stayed here during a recent trip to Boston and were disappointed by the experience. The rooms were very outdated and smaller than in the photos. The walls, between rooms, are not insulated well and your neighbors conversations and activities are easily heard, which means so are yours. The snack bar/restaurant in the lobby is overpriced and the food was not good. The hotel is located in an area where there are no other restaurants, so if you want a convenient meal or snack you have no other choice than the hotel's restaurant.

Very Pleasant Stay in Boston

We had a room with an excellent Bayside view, and it was very clean and comfortable. The Metro subway was close by as well as a bus stop for a free round trip bus ride to the JFK Libray. The staff was helpful and friendly and the Au bon Pain restaurant on site was economical and convenient. Complimentary transportation to the Airport was also a great convenience. An unexpected benefit was the opportunity to see Circque de Soliel right next door. We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay and would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.
