Villa Florence, a Larkspur Hotel

Wonderful!

A Wonderful find right off Union Square in SF. They also had a great restaurant located off the lobby and street that made you feel like you could have been in Italy from their menu. A very charming gem nestled among all the larger hotels

Perfect Location

Staff at checkin and bags are especially professional, cheerful, friendly. Clean rooms, perfect location for strolling thru downtown, great food everywhere!

Great location and comfort

My room was on the 3rd floor and there was a lot of side street noise sunday evening.

Outstanding Hotel

Rooms are small, but that's to be expected in this area of San Francisco. Rooms are very nicely appointed. The hotel is in a great central location to Union Square, trolley, Bart, etc. Couldn't get internet up and running, but didn't ask for help either. Wasn't necessary at the time. Would stay again.

Loved this hotel

I have stayed at a few different hotels in San Fran and this one is great. The location is awesome and the staff were extremely friendly. In fact, I would say they exceeded expectations. As far as the room. Yes, it is small. It is the city and if you are not used to city living then you may feel cramped. I did not. Yes, the bathroom was also small. Again, it didn't bother me and for the price/comfort of this room I think it was still a great deal. The bed was amazing. I have stayed at Westin's simply because of their beds. This hotel must use a similar brand because it was very comfy. We did not end up eating at the on-site restaurant (and I am bummed) but I heard great things. Overall I was very impressed.

Outstanding Hotel Value

What makes this a great place to stay besides the location is a great well trained staff who all practice exceptional customer service. Being connected to Coletto's famous San Francisco resturant is all a plus. Great location, all around great value.

Wonderful Hotel

The Villa Florence is an exceptional hotel right in the heart of Union Square. Great location for shopping, dining, etc. We have stayed here several times now, and hope to be back again next year! The service was terrific.

great location

We've stayed at the VF several times and have not been disappointed so far. It's central location is convenient to shopping the Union square area, Chinatown, and cable car rides to and from Fisherman's Wharf. If you're driving a car, be prepared to shell out some serious bucks for daily parking. The room is small but tastefully decorated. Our only complaint is the noise. We requested a quietly located room (relatively), but we checked in a bit late and the only room available is on the O'Farrell St. side. Other than that, we had three great nights in the heart of SF.

Great Hotel!!

The location was perfect near Union Square. Easy access from the airport if you take Bart!! Room had your standard amenities. Free access to computer and internet in lobby. Would definitely stay there again!!

I am from a medium sized town and not used to the cost of city parking. It caught me by surprise.
