Great value

The only downside was that the pool area is too shaded part of the day - which some might see as an advantage, especially in the summer.

Some physical improvements needed.

bathroom fixtures could be more updated. Entry card key would not work on pool gate even after two attempts by desk clerk to rectify. Other than that the hotel was clean well maintained and pleasant to stay in.

Win! Win! Win!

Price, Comfort, and Friendliness of staff were all great. There also is an onsite Bar/Restaurant, and the bartender makes you feel like "one of the family." I and my wife will be back, and definitely reccomend this hotel to friends, and family.

Exceeded my expectations

Great hotel. Location is awesome. About a mile away from Old Town San Diego and less then 10 minutes away from airport. Check in was a breeze. Front Desk was very helpful and made my stay very comfortable. They printed my flight information for me. Had a problem with TV remote and they had maintenance at my room to fix problem within 5 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Will be returning soon.

Very Satisfied!!!

I was very satisfied staying at this hotel. The price was inexpensive without compromising the quality. The room was clean, had 2 queen beds, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV. The maids did a great job cleaning the room and refilling the supplies. The location was great and convenient. It's got a heated pool as well. The only complain I have is the AC was a little loud. But other than that, I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Outdated Hotel

Rooms were small and smelled very musty. The furniture in the hotel was old as was the resturant. In a conveneint location. Would not reccomend hotel to anyone. Would pay extra for a better hotel.

Great room for the money

Value for money, although the front desk was a little rude.

this hotel is great for downtown, the zoo, sea world, chargers games, etc. over the last couple years i have become spoiled with very comfortable beds and this hotel does not have them.

Needs Improvement

There are a couple of things I would like to see changed before I would visit this Hotel again. The halls in the Hotel were hot and stuffy. That heat came into the room. With kids you tend to go in and out a lot. The window air conditioning only worked on low and wasn't that cold. For my comfort level I like to be cool in my hotel room and when I sleep. Also they have a reserved level parking close to your room for $10 fee. Twice we couldn't park there because it was over full. There should be a special tag to go in your car and they should monitor that.

Good place to spend the night

No parking if you come late night. Rooms near to elevators very noisy. Good things: microwave+coffee maker+refrigerator inside the room good deal. Internet free, and free parking is a plus!

Not bad for the price

This hotel is in need of renovation. The carpet in the halls has many large stains. The sink tops and fixtures must be the 30 year old originals. The staff was helpful.
