Average Hotel

This hotel is coupled with an excellent restaurant, hotel is clean but the room was on par with a motor motel. The 20 inch TV probably said it best

no water

It was unacceptable to me that an entire wing of the hotel did not have water in the morning. No shower, no washing your hands, brushing your teeth, flushing the toilet. The front desk suggested I use the public restroom in the other wing of the hotel. Come on, I paid for a room with water! The hotel could have handled the situation much better than they did. Very disappointing

Outstanding Hotel

My stay at the Fountaingrove Inn was wonderful. From the check in until I left 9 days later everything was great. I had read about the comfort of the beds and it was NO lie. I slept like a log and even though the Inn is right next to Hwy 101 I couldn't hear any noise. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I recommend it to any and all.

Working with visitors

I have to come into Santa Rosa in the late morning and give a speech at 1:00 or so. I very much appreciate a hotel allowing me an early check-in....11 A.M. or so, to allow me to arrive, change clothes, and gather my material (and myself) to be ready to go!The Fountaingrove Hotel was responsive to my needs.

Classy Hotel

I stayed here because it was the cheapest over 4 star hotel in Santa Rosa. I enjoyed the stay very much. Positives: -Close to the 101, but not so close you hear it -6 minute drive to downtown Santa Rosa -Classy, elegant hotel lobby -Free to use computer in the lobby -Bed was very comfortable -The room was decorated with original artworks -Not super expensive Negatives: -There is no elevator in the hotel -Not ample amount of parking For the price this place was amazing. I would definately come back here again!

The combo of Hotel.com and Fountain Grove BAD!!

The hotel was fine. The only problem occurred when I wanted to call the hotel to request a late check-in. The hotel reservations couldn't do this for me because I had booked the room through Hotels.com. When I called hotels.com their servers were down and they couldn't help me. I called the hotel back and they told be to call the front desk. I did call the front desk. If the line is busy at the front desk apparently it bounces to reservations and they can't help me. Basically, only the front desk has the ability to look up the hotels.com reservation number. For all I know, the reservations number is being answered somewhere in India and that is the reason for the miscommunication.
