Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 48GREAT FOR THE MONEY & LOCATION
For the price we paid it was a great deal! They were located close to many stores & restaurants. The free hot breakfast was cool & convenient. The free internet and parking was great because most hotels in the area charge for both. The pool was too little for the size of the hotel. They need a bigger pool or another one on the property. Not sure how often they clean it because I called the front desk to ask them how often they clean it and they couldn't give me an answer. They also offer free shuttle rides to Sea World, The Zoo & the Airport witch was very convenient and saved us money on cab fare & parking at the parks.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 48Good room for the money
We have stayed at this hotel two years in a row while in town for Comic Con. The reason we return is due to the close proximity to the trolley station. It is nice that breakfast is included, however tickets were required which we were not given upon check in. Had to walk quite a distance to the lobby to get the tickets when asked for them in the morning. The rooms could stand to be redone. The carpet has obviously seen better days. Also there was no ice machine in our section of the building. Had to walk to the next building over and up to the second floor just to get ice.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 48Decent hotel, somewhat shady area
The Days Inn SeaWorld is a decent hotel. The staff was quite friendly, and hot breakfast (eggs, pancakes, toast, etc,) was included, which was nice. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from Old Town and the metro train station, which made it very easy to get downtown and to the convenvion center. The immediate area around the hotel is, well, interesting... Its accross the street from a strip club, and there were a few vagrants wandering the area. Other than that, there was also a lot of convenient shopping nearby, including a convenice store next to the hotel, retail stores, and plenty of restaurants.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 48What is with the comfortable Bed
My only regret in hindsight--was not looking at the mattress brand before I left. Overall, the location and price are the two most important features of this hotel. It is not the most beautiful hotel I have stayed at--although it is probably the best looking one in this neighborhood. But-surprisingly--I don't know when I have slept on a more comfortable hotel bed. Both my girlfriend and I slept straight through the night every night. And I can only credity the mattress with being unusually comfortable. Overall, I would label this place as a decent, well kept hotel, with an above average quality mattress.

While the motel might be a decent place to stay the rest of the year, if you're going during the busy season, you probably want to stay away. Parking is kind of a nightmare at the motel, with a good number of spaces at minimum difficult to access at best, and impossible at worst when it's crowded. Rooms are average motel quality - reasonably comfortable but not particularly spectacular. At least they provide a reasonable breakfast, better than an average continental breakfast.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 48Great hotal and perfect location
The hotel staff were great, the hot fresh breakfast a welcome change from the continental type we had at all other hotels. THe room was large, clean and tidy. The hotel shuttle to Seaworld was prompt and very flexiable. The hotel is surrounded by loads of shops and resturants and takeways. A perfect place, will return for sure.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 48OK in a budget
I liked that we were conveniently located to tourist spots like the Old Town, GasLamp quarter, Sea World & San Diego Zoo. There's a CVS store very close by for other things that we need. The breakfast is good for the price paid pancakes and scramble eggs compare to other hotels that have breakfast included.

unkind staff, dirty kitchen, noisy neiborhood, good access to downtown, restaurants.
