Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort

GOOD

Kids loved the pool area. The room could have been cleaner and updated. Noise from the bar downstairs next to the pool was too loud (I stayed on 9th floor). The party was not over til 12am (sat & fri). Other than that, it was worth the $ but I went out of season as well.

Great Hotel ,had a great time!

Stayed at this hotel for labor day weekend, the front desk people were really friendly, which was nice to see. We stayed on the 12th floor but you would think you would have to wait for a long time for the elevator ,but to my surprise the all elevators were really fast. My son loved the water parks and we loved the convince to the beach. The only problem was the parking. The parking lot was across the street but we got use to it other then that had a great time! We will be returning there next year!

Kid friendly

My kids loved the hotel. The water activities were endless. Close to the beach not a far walk at all. The only thing that they need to fix. Is the breakfast cafe, it wasn't open the whole time we where there. With two kids I look for a hotel with breakfast on site. Will keep this hotel in mind, for another stay.

Good room for the money

Nice hotel, though a little out-dated. Old carpet, small beds. However great location, right off the beach and Family Kingdom Amusement Park and within walking distance to shops. Would stay again for the price.

Overall satisfaction whit the hotel!!!

Great pool

While the motor inn portion of the hotel was old, it was clean, needed updating and was a bit noisy. The pools were fabulous and would probably stay again if we could be in the tower portion. Received 1/2 off bowling coupon which was great during the rain!!! Worked for one night and a fun day in the water rain or shine.

"great for the kids

i was looking for hotel/ resort for my kids. they absolutly loved the water park area and the karioki bar. the room was nice overall for the price. within walking distance to family kingdom which they enjoyed also. would definantly recommend if you have small children who enjoy having a good time in the water. will stay here again.

"Great hotel overall"

I was very satisfied with the overall experience, but was dissapointed with the "jaccuzi suite" that we chose as it was just a jetted bathtub and not a seperate jaccuzi. I was also dissapointed when the front desk person lied about not having another room of our choice available after I had just heard her offer that room to another guest on the phone when we inguired about changing rooms.

Very Nice for a Family

The pools for the kids are great, but the slide is only open from 10-4 each day. Value was ok, but expected a little more comfortable beds.

Some Good Some Bad

Good: The kids pool was awesome and my 2 year old loved it. Beach access was great. Bad: Employee at check-in was rude from the second I walked in. I was told no to 2 parking passes but the person checking in beside me got 2??? I had to pay $6/day to park my second vehicle. Room was somewhat clean, we put the comforters under the bed and didn't use them because they were grimy. The AC randomly cut off and I had to reset the breaker. The fridge apparently warms up when you put groceries in it and takes 6 hours to cool down and still never got COLD COLD. The Room door weighted 800 lbs. and slammed shut. This was very noisy and impossible to open and close at night with a 2 year old sleeping. Overall: I would not stay here again. If it wasn't for the kids pool and the smile on my daughters face we would have moved to another hotel.

okay for the money

The beds are very uncomfortable for someone with back problems and the poolside lounges are hard plastic and not comfortable at all. We did like our room and the cleanliness of it. Our only problem was having the safe refuse to open and having to wait over an hour for maintenance to come.
