Wanted more for the money, but the room was clean.

I have 3 kids, and I was disappointed to see that the stopper for the tub was broken off...this was not proper for a hotel to leave a broken piece on the tub edge and leave me with no easy way to give my infant a bath. The handle bar for the towel holder in the shower was broken, the bathroom door was patched badly. The mattress was an older spring type that hurt my back, but my hubby loved it. It was nice to have a fridge in the room, and an iron. The crib provided by the hotel was a play pen, which was okay, but no sheets were offered. The room did seem clean which is a big must, I guess I am cheap, and feel that I could have had the same type room for less, might would have had to do without the fridge though...I think also that the room was a bit bigger then I could find at a less expensive hotel. Overall, with the fake OJ and muffins for breakfast, the broken tub, the street noises, and the cleanliness of the room, I would stay there again, but I would look for another hotel first. Would not give this a good or bad rating....

You get what you pay for...

Some rooms are better than others. The A/C in our first room wouldn't bring the temp down. They gave us another room, and I tried the key, but the door wouldn't open. The third room opened, a/c worked. Blanket was stained and had to be replaced. Shelf in bathroom was loose and falling off the wall. Also, I booked 4 people on the internet and paid for all, but when I got there, they charged for an extra person... But, as the title above says, you get what you pay for. It was inexpensive and in a good location for us. We only needed a place to clean up and sleep anyway.

Great Location

Upon arrival we were not flattered with the appearance of the outside, but once we were finally in the rooms it was very spacious and nice. The only problem was I paid for 2 rooms and the hotel only had record of one room. I had to call Hotels.com twice for them to correct it. The location was perfect. Sea World, the Alamo, and shopping was very close.

Simply Horrible

I've stayed in many hotels and even several Travel Lodge's but I will never stay at a hotel sight-unseen again. The picture on the web looks great but the actual hotel was horrible. The odor was unbearable and the service was poor. The free breakfast was terrible. Never again!

needs inprovement

The staff was nice and friendly,but the room was very uncomfortable---needs new matress. It felt like sleeping on the box spring.
