great room for the price

this hotel was great. it was a big room with a huge ben that was very comfortable. it was so closes to the base where we weere going it was wonderful i would recomend it to anyone. the price was great also

rudeness

i called the travel lodge to tell them that we did not have 6 people we only have 5 and could they make and adjustment on the price. they said they would do that when we came in. so when we got their the lady told us that we have to contact hotel.com well if they would have said that the day before when i had called i would have and maybe saved myself the extra person fee. location was great and the room was clean. the lady in the office was rude.

Great Little Hotel

We stayed her for 4 nights, for our sons graduation from the airforce. It was just across the road from the base, so the location was perfect! We had quite a bit of people with us, and some of my sons rowdy friends. So I really appreciated the fact that they let us hang out at the pool til after midnight, drinking and partying! We stayed quiet though... We had a king, handicapped room (it was the last one available, and we weren't handicapped)-this was a great room, huge, with a great big shower and a 62 inch tv! We will definitily go back there! oh, but their breakfast sucked! where were the waffles???

You get what you pay for

The hotel didn't have hot water, the water pressure was terrible too. The location was great, right next to Lackland AFB. For the price I paid I think the hotel was ok.

"Great room for the money"

The room a lot nicer and cleaner than had expected. If you are there for a basic graduation, the location is perfect.

Needs Improvement

This Hotel is ok if you are looking for an ok place to sleep for a night but the showers have NO water pressure and the pool was not very clean. It rooms could use some updating. This is an ok room if you are on a tight budget.

Do Not Stay at This Hotel

I made the mistake of reading the few "good" reviews this hotel got and made my decision that the other "bad" reviews couldn't have really been that bad. Boy was I wrong...where do I begin?? I reserved a non-smoking room and got smoking. I checked my sheets as I always do and found long hairs on them... my sister took a look at her bedding and discovered that her pillowcases were dirty. I looked at mine, and mine appeared dirty too! We requested new pillowcases, and when we got the replacements we realized that no...they were not dirty (well hopefully not), but they were stained. My sister's replacements included a bloodstained pillowcase. Washed or not, that's just disgusting. The pillows themselves were even stained, which we noticed when changing the foul pillowcases, and not to mention their condition was horrible. The filling had become all matted and balled up so that they weren't even really in a pillow-like shape anymore. Just a wad of stuff here and there. The towels were just as stained. They did not smell dirty, but looking at old dirt and makeup stains when drying off after a shower just makes one feel dirty. The fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling by the wires it was connected to. The ironing board was not the kind that stands up, but that you must place on a counter top. The blue covering on the board was stained, ripped, and hanging off in places. The iron was old. Dead cockroaches (or waterbugs??) were inside the air conditioner and behind the tv stand. A tiny one got on my foot while in the shower... I had inadvertently knocked over my shampoo bottle and noticed a tiny blackish brown thing sitting on my foot when I moved the bottle. After closer inspection I realized it was alive. Not the kind of thing you want to encounter at 6am. The only good thing I can really say about the place is that the air conditioner worked....although after having it on for a few hours the floor in front of it was wet all the way to the 1st bed. Room okay for the price paid

I recently stayed at the lackland travelodge hotel. When we entered the room there was empty coke bottle behind the door. The beds were not very comfortable, the air conditioner was too cold and ran constantly. The curtains wouldn't close all the way due to missing hooks and the housekeepers never changed our sheets the whole week we were there. The towels and washcloths were faded and worn out. Ane the manager charged us an extra 20 per night for an extra guest.Was a little pricey for the comfort and service that we recieved.overall the location was great.....

Great Stay for the Money

We were in town for son inlaws Air Force BMT graduation. Wanted to save money so I booked us this hotel even though the ratings were not the greatest. I think it's a great little hotel for the money! Pros were: Close to Lackland AFB, air conditioning works well, Clean,hot showers, nice little breakfast. Cons: Sheets were stained, but changed the minute we told them. In double bed room, air blows right in your face in the first bed. All in all, I would stay there again. We only paid inside $219 for a 4 night stay and that's half as much as the other hotels were asking!

good for the money

hotel was generally good. in a decent area if u need to get to the military base. rooms were clean. beds seriously need replacing, too soft and sag in the center. shower heads could use replacing. otherwise good.

Clean Room and Helpful Staff

I had to check in late and change my room from a single to a double at the last minute. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the price was good.

Needs Improvement

The service was good, in that they quickly responded when we called for new sheets. The negitive is that the room was not very clean. The sheets were VERY dirty and there were used coffee grounds in the coffee machine. There were also ants all in the bathroom. We had to keep our toothbrushes and all other things up away from the counter.
