Nice experience

My husband and I stayed one night in Seattle at the W on our way to Victoria. For starters, the young lady who checked us in was very nice and pleasant to deal with. The room was super comfortable and had a luxury feel to it. Also great beds, well equipped bathrooms and it was very quiet. Made for great sleeping. In the morning we enjoyed the coffee they provide in the lobby and the great atmosphere for lounging or reading the paper. We also loved the location...walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Found a great deal on hotels.com and would definitely recommend to friends. Very enjoyable stay!!

Great hotel, too expensive

This hotel is quite modern, clean and has excellent staff. However, some of their pricing is outrageous. I was looking at the room service menu for laughs, not food! For example, a bowl of oatmeal is $14, and I paid $40 for valet parking. The hallways are dimly lit for ambiance, but this makes it difficult to see where you're going! Overall, this is the type of hotel to stay at where money is no object.

Disappointed and not enough hotel for the money

Parking expenses too exorbitant. Internet access also a fee per day and not wireless. Terrible view. Food less than spectacular. Cleaning staff, bellhops and parking attendant service was excellent however.

$10 glass of milk?

Although it is a very nice hotel, it really isn't worth the extra money. I will gladly stay at the Hyatt or Fairmont during my next Seattle trip. In summary, $10 for a glass of milk to your room is just wrong.

great rooms

Great rooms. The most comfortable beds I've ever been in for a hotel. Concierge sucks. Front reception courteous and helpful. Snobby concierge (just one of the three guys, actually)

Ambiance

I loved the ambiance and feel of the hotel. This was more apparant at night, when the lobby is lit by tea light candles. It is unlike any other lobby I have seen.

Clean and Convenient location

The W hotel was great!! The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful. We had a great experience and the rooms and hotel have a great modern hip vibe.
