great.. but beware if you are f;ying continental`

Hotel was fantastic. However, the next morning for an early flight, my 10-mo old and I went down to the security line at the base of the hyatt and were unable to check in! Most other airlines you could enter the terminal there, but we had to catch a terminal bus and it took an extra 30 min to do all the run around--it was basically like staying off site. We got there in time for flight but i was aniticapating having an hour pre-flight to organize/play with baby and they were pretty much ready to preboard when we got to continental terminal. plan your AM flights carefully--it may not be as conveniently located as you would expect!

Outstanding Hotel

We live three and a half hours from DFW Airport and have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past 3 years. The rooms are fabulous for the price, and you do not hear the noise from the planes. The hotel is extremely convenient for a morning flight or an arrival into DFW late in the evening.Everyone is courteous and very helpful.

Great hotel for weary travellers

Price may be a little high but is well worth it for the convience and comfort provided

Outstanding Hotel

This is one of the best Hotel's I have ever stayed at! New, Clean, Many Ammenities. I use to travel weekly and this by far is one of the best hotels for the money. Very convienently located inside DFW airport. I wish i had more time to enjoy there!

Hyatts are pricey

Don't expect much to be covered in your room cost--especially not breakfast. I think we got a free coffee. The room, of course, was gorgeous and comfortable with an incredibly large bathroom, and one robe. Being an airport hotel, they must get business travelers, not families, most of the time. The kids menu on the room service was great, as was the service. (The carrot sticks and celery were flavorless, though). Although you hear the jets, it did not keep my family from resting comfortably. The convenience to the gates was worth it.

Great hotel

I wanted to do something special for my daughters. One was flying out of DFW and then we wanted to go shopping the next day. The hotel was a real treat. The view from the room was great watching the planes. Everyone was so nice. The restaurant was nice but overpriced. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be staying there again!

Great hotel and very convenient!

My daughter missed her connecting flight in Dallas due to weather problems. She was able to get a room at the Grand Hyatt and go right over on the airport tram, which was wonderful. She felt safe and secure not having to leave the airport and had plenty of time to get ready for her flight the next morning. Even though the hotel has a captive audience, they don't take advantage of it by charging inflated prices. All in all, a great experience which made the flight delay almost bearable.

Great for traveling

We had a long layover and was not planning on staying anywhere but at the last min. We realized the layover was to long to just sit in the airport. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on a cab and we were unfamiliar with Dallas so it was last min that we book our room. It was so convenient and we ordered room service for dinner since it was late. The room was great and the food was just as nice. We also had kids with us and the room service offered kids meals. We would definitly stay there again if the situation called for it. I booked on line from Belize and they were waiting for us when we arrived. Very easy!

Unwanted gift in bed

For the price that we paid for a hotel with two queen size beds and a pool we were less than impressed.Upon arriving at the room, we were getting ready to go to the pool. My daughter hopped on her bed and felt a lump under the covers. Upon pulling the covers back we found a dirty pair of men's boxer shorts under the covers. We immediately called the front desk. By the time the came and changed the bed, we were no longer interested in going to the pool.
