Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 10A great place to stay in Waikiki
We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency on Waikiki. The location is very central, our room was very comfortable and clean. If you have a rental car, be prepared to pay $28+ per night. Although we did not have a front ocean view, we were upgraded to the Club level. With free breaksfast in the morning and free drinks and food in the afternoon. The staff at the Club level were super nice and helpful. Overall, it was a very great experience.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 10GREAT !!! GOT MORE THAN I EXPECT.
I usually stay at 5 star hotels.I went to Hyatt and was pleasantly surprised.I got a oceanfront 29th floor for a very reasonable price. The hotel is "little" less on decor and vibe then the very expensive 5 star, but for the money and the view you cant beat hyatt.I saved money compared to other hotels and had a great time. The location is great in the center of waikiki and the people that work are very well trained and courteous. Some five star workers think they are the guest and act snobby.I have been to almost every hotel in waikiki and I am very picky.Hyatt is now one of my favorite!!!

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 10Great hotel
I stayed here for a week. The hotel is great and the rooms are very large, even compared to other hotels on Waikiki. The staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is in a great location... lots to do and asy to get around. Any room that ends with the number 51 is next to the elevator shaft which was a bit noisy... but the hotel is very good and the breakfast was excellent.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 10Great Hotel but poor customer service
Great Hotel overal. However on arrival I had to wait 3 hours after my check in due to the fact they overbooked and had no rooms avialable. I was dead tired from the night before and just wanted to relax and take a nap but that didn't happen. They compensated with free lunch but I felt the free lunch was not worth me having to wait a few hours.

This is our second stay at the Hyatt. We thought about staying somewhere else for a change, but after looking at all the other places we came back to the Hyatt. Shopping is right in the Hotel including three ABC stores for all those little things you need. You can overlook Waikiki beach from the pool. The lobby including waterfall and talking Parrots are fun. Walking distance to International Market. For breakfast walk up the street to Kione Kio's and for lunch or dinner don't miss the Hula Pie at Duke's Canoe club on the beach.

Best location hands down on Waikiki Beach. Only complaint is that it was a tad noisy due to street traffic and pedestrians since our room faced the beach. Otherwise, a ton of shops, rental car vendors, & an ABC Store located on the property. The Expedia concierge desk was great for booking our luau and tours. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 10Great hotel...Be careful when booking
I enjoyed everything about the hotel (comfort, location, convenience). However, I booked a king-sized bed at hotels.com but did not receive this accomodation when I arrived. The Hyatt informed me that while they will try to accomodate our on-line requests, they don't guarantee it. My wife and I ended up with a very nice, double-bed room with a wonderful view (as we requested on-line) but didn't get the king bed.
