Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 22Could Be Better
People were outside our room on the terrace all night long. Could not watch TV because they never gave us a remote. Called them and they were supposed to bring one up but never did. Learned later that they want a $20.00 deposit for a remote. It was for one night. How can you charge someone $20.00 for a remote for one night. The only good thing was they had a nice restaurant inside the hotel and they were located in a nice area.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 22Exceeded Our Expectations
This motel definitely exceeded our expectations! We were quite pleased that the motel allowed us to book only one night since most hotels down the shore require a 3 night minimum stay. Since I booked the room approx 2 weeks prior to our stay, we had to take whatever they had available. The room we booked was absolutely awesome! It was large with 2 king sized beds, a fridge, a microwave and was very clean. Our room was facing the pool but was towards the end of the building which was great for us because it was quiet at night even though the pool was open until 11:00pm. The only complaint we had was there should have been more parental supervision of the children in the pool especially since there are no ligeguards on duty. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back next year! :-)

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 22Good hotel for the area
The hotel is close to the boardwalk and water park. The room was clean. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. The beds weren't very comfortable, and the bathroom was quite small. Compared to other hotels I have stayed in Wildwood, this was worth the money.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 22Pretty Good Room for the Money
Unfortunately, we were there during the Elks Convention, which obviously translates to, party-loudly-all-night-long. At 2 in the morning we could still hear loud voice and laughter which seemed to be right outside our room when in actuality it was down in the parking lot three floors down. Besides that the carpet was a little sticky and we were disappointed with the restaurant service for breakfast: not enough staff, plenty of tables. Other than that, the staff at the hotel desk were helpful and the maid service was adequate. We couldn't beat the location for the Morey's Pier Beach Bop event.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 22First time visit
It was wonderful to have an indoor pool to use during our winter mini get away. My 5 year old love the pool-very warm and not too deep or too big. The view from the 7th floor where the pool is located was just lovely. The only down fall to our stay was that restaurant in the hotel was closed for the winter season and when I booked our stay there was no mention of a cash deposit for the TV remote. I didn't mind, just advance notice would have been nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are planning to go back again in a few weeks.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 22Overall Good Value
We stayed in the motor inn part of the hotel and not the high rise. We were pleasantly surprised with the room and thought it was worth the money. Bathrooms are a bit small and not practical but they were fairly clean. Had no problem parking since there is a lot across the street. Front desk staff isn't very personable but knowledgeable of area when we inquired about restaurants and activities. Overall good value for the money and had no complaints.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 22Confusion of hotel and motel
The hotel was fine, I just wish they clarified whether we were in the hotel or the motel part of it as it has both. I thought we were in the hotel but they put us in the motel part.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 22Nice hotel for the area
We found Wildwood area service a little cool and "short" most everywhere we went. Considering that culture in the service industry there, the motel was good.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 22would not recommend this Motel
We stayed at the Bolero in the Motel part (there is a Hotel & Motel). Our room was not very clean. We had to wear socks whenever we were in the room because the carpet was literally sticky and left a dirt residue on your barefeet. With a 2 1/2 year old, this was not optimal since he couldn't play on ground level. There is no elevator in the Motel section, so getting to our room on the 3rd floor was also challenging given all the luggage we had for our stay. Our room also had a hanging cord going to the light over the table, and an exposed outlet next to it (they never covered the exposed wires when they stopped utilizing the power source). Not only was the cord a strangulation hazard, but the outlet posed an electricution hazard (we moved the couch over to cover the outlet). The bathroom was clean, but there was no type of shelf or hook to set or hang anything in there. Our room was a "Deluxe" room with 2 king size beds and a pull out couch. There was plenty of room for the time we were there, but I wouldn't call the room "deluxe" in anyway.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 22Not family friendly
Rooms were extremely spacious and clean. There were no limitations on where guests could smoke and drink. Both nights of our stay we were awakened after midnight by groups who were hanging out in a deck area directly outside of our rooms. There was absolutely no "sound barrier" at all as we heard every word that was said. The first night security never took care of the problem after we made 2 phone calls to the front desk. The second night they must have sent someone because the group dispersed after we called. A family friendly environment would have better restriction of these areas after 11:00 at night. We were disappointed and would not stay there again.
