Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 9Be careful of the Delux rooms
Delux rooms are in the back of the hotel, in a MOTEL like setting not in the main building. Main building only has one elevator that I could tell. When I made the reservation I was expecting the rooms to be in the main building but was disappointed where I actually ended up. I dont think I would stay there again.

This was one of the nicest stays I have had. I would tell everybody to try this hotel

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 9Modest
Recieved some slightly unpleasant service at the front desk upon checking in. Apparently there is a minimum age for all parties involved at check-in without parental involvement. Makes little sense for someone older than 21 to have their parents check them in when their companion is 27. Room was fairly large although the dressers were somewhat damaged. The bartenders at the in-hotel restaurant tend to ignore younger patrons- suggest getting a drink elsewhere. The indoor pool has an excellent view of the boardwalk. The outdoor pool had (among other things) a tire floating in it, so steer clear. Location was good for bars, restaurants and the boardwalk.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 9enjoyed our stay
We came for the great bands that played that weekend. They are very close to the boardwalk and we walked to everything, even in the winter this is terrific. We enjoyed the gym and hot tub very much. We always love the panaramic view of wildwood from the hot tub. We had a great stay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 9It worked.
The previous reviews implied crude service. I was impressed to see the front desk staff both informative & polite. Hotel room was worthy of the two stars. Building shows its age - though upgrades are noticeable. Hotel boasts of the upper level pool/gym and dining/entertainment venue - though we didn't visit either. Would certainly recommend to others & return in future. PS - Wildwood, NJ struck me as a very quiet town if you have nothing planned there in November (convention, wedding, et al).
