Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 13Unbelievable
The hotel itself is beautiful, in great condition and spotless. We loved our room, the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a great time here, the pool situation is great even providing an adults only section for all of us out there not looking to be around kids on our vacation. The staff was the best I have experienced in the many hotels I have stayed at. If this is a hotel you are considering, you will not be disappointed with this place.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 13Great Hotel, but not worth the extra $$
Grand Hyatt is a fabulous place to stay, and maybe worth the $$ if you plan to sit at the hotel all day. The pools and facilities are amazing, but we spent a lot of time away from the hotel, so the extra $$ weren't worth it for us. I might add this place as a 1-2 night stay at the end of a vacation when you want to relax by the pool and have a couple of nice meals, but if you want to see Kauai, stay at a cheaper place -- a nice room is a nice room, if that is all you are going to use.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 13Details!
The hotel was beautiful. Although, the price was one of the higher in Kaui with the Princeville closed. The price is comparable to a Four Seasons. And it doesn't have those same fit and finishes. Needs a new Gym and workout equipment. Spa is just ok. A very large resort and hard to get around. Loved our stay just know what you are signing up for. We would go back and I would recommend. But for that price I would look into The Princeville or another island. You are just so limited on Kaui.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 13Outstanding Hotel
Went there for my honeymoon and it was the perfect spot on Kauai. We were there for a week and took some trips around the island and didn't see a better place to be. We also took some shuttles and met some locals on the island that confirmed it was the nicest resort. 6 nights were not enough. The restaurants at the hotel were great and it was only a $6 shuttle ride to other great restaurants in the area...The Beach House, Roy's, Keoki's, etc. It definitely wasn't cheap but the value was there for sure.

We love this hotel! The grounds and accomodations are amazing. we had the time of our life and will go back again next year for our 3rd time. Unfortunately or fortunately ( depending on how one looks at things) the hotel is not inexpensive and neither are the services, but for the a total relaxation and full service vacation...this is it....KSB

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 13Because you deserve it
You can't put a price on true romance. The Grand Hyatt sets the stage for a perfect vacation. The 55-acre resort has all the amenitites necessary for romance, relaxation, or adventure, whether traveling for business or pleasure. While the accomodations are not cheap, they are well worth it.
