Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 29Good value in an okay location
The Watertown and her sister hotel, The University Inn, are both located near the University of Washington. There are a number of affordable restaurants a few blocks away which cater to college students, but offer good value. The hotel provides free USA Todays, breakfast, gym, parking, laundry (need to purchase soap), afternoon chocolate chip cookies and, on Thursday's, a beer / wine social in the afternoon.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 29A great find!
Parking included which is great. And the breakfast was more than your standard continental items.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 29Very comfortable and convienent, great staff!
This is a very comfortable hotel in the University District. Lots of nice places to eat within walking distance. The neighboring University hotel has a pool that Watertown guests can use. They also have free shuttle service to many places downtown Seattle which was a very big plus. Also available are DVDs, and cheap snacks in the lobby. The free breakfast was pretty standard and good quality food. Free secure garaged underground parking was a huge plus as was the free WIFI / Cat5 connection in the rooms. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Seattle.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 29Best hotel in Seattle
I have stayed at the Watertown many times. This modern urban hotel is the most comfortable hotel I have ever visited. The service is always impeccable. The bedding is probably more comfortable than you have at home, and the toiletries are all Aveda. The free van service is very helpful, as Seattle is very difficult to navigate for a stranger. Be sure to check out their "a la carte" service. They will bring various themed carts to your room, such as a kids cart loaded with games and activities, a movie cart with a DVD player and a selection of movies, a spa cart with assorted items to pamper yourself, etc. The complimentary wifi and underground parking are also big pluses. The breakfast buffet is nothing special, but certainly adequate. Weeknights usually include a complementary wine tasting. I am an experienced traveler, and I will never stay at another hotel in Seattle.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 29Terrific Boutique Hotel
We were pleasantly surprised with the Watertown Hotel. We chose it for location as we needed to be in that sector of town. The hotel was unique, friendly, extremely well run, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed it. It is not in the main stream of things but they have shuttles that accomodate and Seattle is easy to get around, I highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 29Great Place
I felt well treated, very safe and the bed was really comfortable. The room was clean and quiet. The quiet was a benefit I did not expect found delightful. Breakfast was tasty and varied and the staff both competent and cheerful.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 29Looked Cool
The hotel looked very cool from the photo's. The rooms looked large and spacious and it appeared to have a great view. I was disappointed in the size of the room and the view. The neighborhood is a tad sketchy until you actually get into the UW area.

Check out the free carts for a night of movies or board games or foot massage. We also thought it was cool to have bikes available for use, even though it was too rainy for our taste to actually use them this time.
