Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 14Great Value, but a Little Awkward
We enjoyed our overnight at the Lexington. The room was large and comfortable, the pool and spa were pleasant (although the spa controls were not working, so that's one ding), and the breakfast was very nice. It seemed a bit odd that we did not receive anything at check-in or find anything in the room to tell us about the hotel, such as services available, where things are located, hours things were available, etc., although the clerk did communicate clearly about the location and time (7-10am) for the breakfast. The location is slightly awkward since it is next to metro tracks with no crossing, so you have to go up a couple of blocks and make a U-turn if you are coming from the south.

Excellent hotel. I think the advertise should insist about the location, very close to metro rail station, which permit you going to any place easily.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 14Hair on the shower wall...
I was pretty pleased with the price and the location of this hotel, however there was a red balled up hairball on the shower wall when I first used it. The bedside lamp on the left and the desk lamp BOTH didn't work and there were no wash cloths in the bathroom.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 14Good location for our activities
Staff is somewhat disorganized. The included breakfast is relatively limited and the staff, although very pleasant, was slow to keep items replenished. There was no shop in the hotel -- requiring a walk to a nearby drug store -- and very limited items in the few vending machines. A significant problem was the on arrival we found the hotel had not been informed of our reservation. We were lucky to get a room since it was late evening by the time we arrived at the hotel. An offset was that since a suite was all that was left we got that -- very spacious but somewhat oddly configured.

Hotel ac didn't work well until the next morning after having it on cold setting all night long (it was a warm day when we arrived).

the coolest thing I have ever experienced was cookies at the front desk. they give you cookies. I know this may not seem like a lot but its cool to me. the hotel rooms are huge and the neat. the computer room runs well. the staff was also very helpful!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 14great value
Hotel room and service was above my expectations. Linens and pillows looked brand new. Free buffet breakfast each morning saved me a lot of money, AND was delicious! Pool and work out room also provided. Friendly staff. We were in town for a Diamondbacks v. Cubs game, and hotel is too far to walk to the ballpark from...I was told it was under a mile, but it was actualy closer to 2 miles away.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 14Flexible and Accomodating
Hotel staff were very flexible in allowing us to extend our stay on short notice. Staff also very accomodating in helping us "key an eye on" our two teenage daughters. I want to especially commend the following staff: Debbie and Shawn at the front desk, "Stormy" in the restaurant; Bernie and Glenn.
