This was a very nice hotel to stay in at an excellent rate if your just sleeping there. There aren't a lot of extras, but it was very comfortable.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 84OK for one night and the price
This hotel is OK for the price and OK to stay for one night. The location is close to downtown and the theater for a concert.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 84Great hotel for the money
Great hotel for the money. Next to Metro which took us directly to Chase Field. Room had all; refrig, microwave, sofa, chair, desk, coffee maker, 2 queen beds. Will definitely stay again.

for the price you can't beat it! we ended up in a handicap room, which was ok, room was spacious and had a mini fridge which was great, bed was soft and the shower head needed to be replaced, carpets could use a good cleaning the air worked great and it was 114 degrees outside so we were quite happy over all. hotel saff was grreat, especially george the eskimo at the front desk, will definately stay there again. great location for the light rail to get around.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 84Not what I expected
I was very happy with the hotel when I when I checked in. It looked very clean and well taken care of. It wasn't until I got to the room later in the evening that I had a problem. The air conditioning was not sufficient to keep the entire room cool. Luckily the bed was close to the one vent so we were comfortable when we slept. The bathroom smelled like it hadn't been cleaned but looked clean. The towels were not in the best condition and we ran out of toilet paper. In the middle of the night I woke up to a smell of stale moldy sheets and it turned out to be the comforter. The continental breakfast was average. I also gave my credit card for incidentals when I checked in and was not informed about he $50 hold by the front desk clerk or in any of the paper work I initialed when I checked in. My family and I only stayed in the hotel for one night quick stay and in my opinion that is what this hotel is good for.

This hotel was not what I expected at all. Had to change rooms air was not working, very bad when staying in Phoenix,AZ. Awful smell in room, it literally smelled like something died in our room. Beds not nice and firm like most hotel you would stay in. Toilet flushed only when it felt like it. TV cabinet didn't stay open on one side, I really felt like we were being "Punked", or we were in a movie where you stay at a hotel and everything possible is wrong with it. The only thing I can say is, good thing we only stayed one night, because I couldn't of took another day of staying there.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 84Excellent value in Down town Phoenix!
This hotel was a great value. I needed to be at the Dodge theater, which was less than 1 mile away. It was half the price of all the other down town hotels near the Dodge theater!!! You also get a nice free continental breakfast, or if you want some eggs and more, it will be about $5..not bad! The front desk was very accomidating and the hospitality is great. It is a little older than the other down town hotels, but for the price, it made up for it. The room we got was HUGE! We "accidentally" found a wet bar in our room- we thought it was a closet. That was a nice surprise. everything was clean- I would definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 84Great value and service for the price!!!
I was somewhat skeptical since the price of the hotel was so low compared to others in the downtown area. The room was huge!!! The front desk people were so nice and accomidating. There is a free continental breakfast - but you can get a hot breakfast for about $5. It is an older hotel- but for the price, you can overlook the outdates. My room had an unexpected bar! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the downtown Phoenix area as it is very safe and I am sure you will not get a better deal. I have stayed at "budget" hotels that cost far more and offered less. It is rated a 2.5 star hotel- but I feel that it should get more stars!!!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 84needs inmprovement
Hotel had staffing problems (several people quitting at once). Stayed there because Banner hospital referred them and other family members were staying there as well. Needed a toilet plunger and one could not be found. They were willing to move us but we didnt want to because we had a group of rooms and didnt want to be seperated from our group. Only had 1 trashcan in the whole room. Light in living/sitting area didn't work and phone in room didn't work. Mentioned to front desk but neither were fixed.
