Good location, bad service, thin walls

The good: located centrally, right off the light rail. The bad: employees largely clueless, could hear my neighbor's television clearly.

nice hotel

The air condition was not able to keep our room cool, but it was also 108 outside. The hotel was a nice hotel overall!

Better than I expected

The cost of the room was so low that I was bracing myself for a cheap motel experience. Actually, I was pleasantly suprised when I walked into the lobby. It was clean, the furnishings looked nice. Overall, my room was comfortable. Good sheets, comfy pillows, a chair and ottoman to relax in. The bathroom shower had the curved shower bar like you see in nice hotels. They provided good, fluffy bath towels, not those cheap, thin things that barely cover your body. They also provided amenities like shampoo and conditioner. Overall, not a bad experience. The only negative comment I have is that the walls seemed thin and I could hear people walking around on the floor above, but given what I paid, I shrugged this off. Also, they provide breakfast in the morning, though not until 7am. I was quite happy to get free coffee and a danish. I sat in the dining area and watched the light rail train go by. The windows needed some cleaning, but not bad.

Highly recommended!

I only stayed for one night. However, the staff were very helpful and polite. Location and accessibility are a plus as well. I highly recommend this hotel to those visiting downtown Phoenix, AZ.

Needs Improvement

I stayed here for 2 nights for a seminar that was held there. My room looked clean, but I have allergies to animals and I coughed and sneezed for 2 days while in the room. The next day confirmed my suspicions a lady came in the resturant from her room with a long hair dog that she took over to the breakfast buffet in her arms and started fixing her food. After she put the dog down she rubed her hands over the food and you could see the dog hair flying in the air. Also the diningroom service was very poor. I waited 1 hour for a sandwich and there was only 1 couple in there. I have another class there, but I will stay at another hotel and eat somewhere else too..

Needs improvement

location was convenient for the downtown. Restrooms in the hotel are very old and not in good condition.

Very nice and great value

Close to Phoenix Art Museum and Central Phoenix. Large and clean room. Quiet. Very helpful staff. Restaurant on premises and food was great. Very good value - I will definitely be back.

Good value

The hotel is situated near the convention center and is within easy walking distance to two art museums. We took advantage of the free parking and easy access to the light rail. We used the pool which seemed clean. The only thing I would change is the workout room. None of the equipment works as it is very old.
