Tried it Again

This stay was the second time for me. The first time, the room felt dirty and the comforter was “icky”. This time, the room/bathroom felt clean but the ceiling had a leak and large water mark. When I felt it, it was wet. More than likely, (and admittedly-I am assuming here) it was there when housekeeping made rounds – I don’t know how that could have been missed – it was a huge leak. I was too tired to change rooms so I reported it in the morning at check out. The employee I spoke to gave no indication that she cared one way or another. In the lobby sitting room, the crown molding needs a good dosing of caulk. I know, now I am picking but….here is the thing, this is supposed to be a nice hotel and spa. I just want readers to know that I don’t believe it warrants as many stars as it has. Be prepared for a nice, quiet and quant hotel with normal wear and tear any aged establishment might have.

Our Stay

The Hotel needs improvements/updating. Our room was not as expected or anticipated. The carpet was ripped, the toilet was broken, and the headboard was only holding on my a bolt and when we turned in bed, it rattled heavily. I just expected more from the hotel because of the name and reputation.

Great room for the money.

It exceeded my expectations. Great room. The hotel staff was courteous and very professional. Very quiet. Country inn setting. Very nice. Will definitely stay there again without question.

great hotel

the hotel was great...but when i made the reservation, i was told that this was a smoking hotel and it was not. i hope in the future hotels.com could do a better job of checking this information so next time i decide to book a hotel with them i can rest assured that the rooms are what they say they are.
