Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 10if you are a frat kid than this is for you!
For a hotel in Aspen that I stayed at long ago and loved it!!! I was very disapointed with this Hotel. The staff was very nice. But someone who owns or runs the operation needs to take the blame for a place that was once A fine place! And now is a dirty poorly run Hotel. too bad!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 10Nice, Comfortable Hotel
Nice, cozy, homey place. The only problem was that the maids kept coming in the room to clean before we had left. Seems they need better communication to the maids about when is a good time to clean (certainly not when the guests are still in the room).

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 10No power in our room at the Inn & How long does it take to flip a circuit breaker??
The rooms were rather large, and adequate. There is NO elevator, so when my son joined me with 9 weeks worth of luggage, we had to carry heavy, full, bags up the stairs. Biggest concern was the quality of customer service. On our last evening in the Hotel, we blew a fuse (around 7:30pm) which only affected our room. Called the front desk and were advised that maintenance would be called. With a northerly facing room, and night quickly descending, our room was getting darker by the minute. The glass door and window helped, but it was black in the bathroom. Called back to the front desk a full 15 minutes after the original call to find out that maintenance still had not been contacted! My frustration grew, and was met with a surly front desk person who told me he did not appreciate my attitude. Remember, dark room, wet hair, dinner reservations and an early flight out the next morning. No suggestions were made for our predicament, flash lights were not offered, and no expectation of when the power would be restored was given! It was I who suggested maybe moving rooms (which was only as a last restort). The front desk person said if we wanted to move rooms I could come down and make arrangements, but he would still try to get in touch with maintenance. I went down after another 10 minutes or so to speak in person with the front desk manager. Found out that I had spoken on the telephone with the bell hop, that the front desk manager had stepped out and just then returned. The maintenance people had still NOT been contacted. (Now we are almost 30 minutes after my original call.) In my exasperation, I suggested that the front desk manager find us a different room, which he did, and provide me with a flashlight (which he did not). We did move into a different room, with absolutely no assistance from the hotel staff. Eventually the manager returned with a small pen light that allowed us to check the room for left behind items. Needless to say, I would

The toilet was not flushing and unfortunately during the stay I was ill. After multiple calls to resolve the problem I finally had to go the front desk to get a plunger and try to resolve the issue myself. In addition the microwave did not work. When we called to get service no attempt was made to switch rooms or rectify the situation.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 10Very Disappointed
My husband and I chose this location for our honeymoon, excited for a room with a good view and the numerous ammenities. Though there few to no other guests in the hotel we were placed in a room with a parking lot view. There was no breakfast as discribed on the website. They were painting outside of our room so we had to deal with the smell. The halls were cluttered with remodling tools, and there was plaster pieces found in the carpet through out. The maid took one of the robes and never replaced it, so we had one robe for 2 guests. The coffee maker in our room was missing a piece, so we were unable to make coffee in our room, and the coffee in the lobby was very cold. It was hard to reach someone at the front desk, and when reached were very distant and unhelpful. All of the machines were "sold out" and the ice machine did not work. You have to pay extra for a microwave, but there is a fridge.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 10Enjoyable Stay
I went during the off season, so a lot of the hotel ammenities were not open, like the restaraunt. Luckily the main town of Aspen is only a few minute drive. The hotel was also going through some renovations since it was the off season, but it did not disrupt my stay at all. Overall the stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

I was very surprised and impressed with the quality and service of this hotel. Ana at the front desk was particularly helpful.
