Front desk staff,bellstaff, and concierge were very friendly and helpful. Gave good tips on directions, sightseeing, and eateries. We also enjoyed the bar area on main floor, very upbeat and trendy.

The Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago was clean and very modern even though it was in a twenties era building. The beds were very comfortable but the rooms were almost austere. The refrigerator was filled with liquors and snacks (all over priced) and it would have been nice to have room for water in there. The bottled water on the bed table was more than $10.00. There was not an extra towel or washcloth or amenity of any kind, Considering the cost of the hotel I think service was minimal. It is in a wonderful location and we walked to Shedds Aquarium (about 45 minutes) and Michigan Mile was right there. Over all a good place to stay if you are not spending long periods in the room. Free internet was readily available.

This hotel exceeded our expectations with the fabulous service! The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was in walking distance of the parks, Magnificient Mile, Sears Tower and tons of restaurants. I would definately stay here again!

My room lacked suffient lighting and the size of the room was on the small side. The hotel staff were very nice & professional but, overall, I wasn't impressed with the hotel. The name (with it's music connection) is what drew me in but my 14 yr old daughter & I were both expecting "more". It was o.k....nothing to rave about.

My 18yr old daughter and I stayed during spring break for our birthdays. Booked during a 48hr sale and got the room reasonable. We had a great time. Hotel staff was very nice. We self parked around the corner and walked up to check in. I would book this hotel again if the price was right !!!!

The location of the hotel was fanastic we walked everywhere. My concern was when I dropped my earring to the floor what I saw under the bed was old food like chips and nuts. We asked for it to be clean but I guess that was to hard for them to look under the bed. Other than that the rooms were fine and staff on a whole friendly I guess I have high standards

I really liked the Hard Rock Hotel. Very nice and clean. I didn't get to see much of the hotel, but I liked what I did see. The location is good, we walked around and found some good pizza and then walked back from Navy Pier. My only complaint was the street noise was very loud even on the 12th floor and I had a hard time sleeping. Lote of people driving motorcycles and honking at 2AM for some reason.
