Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 23Great Hotel
We always stayed at the Hyatt in downtown Phoenix to go to the game, but they were full. They Wyndham may have been nicer than the Hyatt. It was a very quiet nice place that is convenient to everywhere in downtown Phoenix. I would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel rocked from beginning to end. The Phoenix tram is right outside. The room was beautiful and the people were really nice.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 23Great hotel best in the area.
Great hotel. Apparent this hotel has recently been renovated lobby and rooms look great. Rooms are smaller than expected, but very well done. Bed could have been little better condition but comfortable. Enjoyed our stay very much, great location to Light Rail. Staff very helpful.

The room was nicely furnished but a little dark. Window was filthy. Housekeeping made quite a ruckus coming into our room at 7:30 while we were still sleeping. he room service food was inedible. Everything closed on Saturday evening in surrounding area.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 23OK hotel
Nice room, but the remodeling in the hotel is still going on and I don't think our room was completely finished - no fridge or micro and the finishing touches were incomplete - baseboards, window frames, etc. The noise from the neighboring room was awful, as was the street noise when the window was open (9th floor room). The equipment in the fitness center is in very poor condition and virtually unusable. The room was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and upgraded linens, and the staff was great, but I would not stay here again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 23LOCATION ! LOCATION ! LOCATION !
The staff was excellent and quality of hotel was was very well done [in the process of remodel, but still very nice]. Food was to die for - for breakfast had the best pancakes I've ever had in my entire life [seriously]. I was in Phoenix to attend a Diamondbacks game and the location of the hotel could not be more perfect - a nice 3-4 block walk and you're at Chase, I was ecstatic. I plan to visit in the Fall to attend a Suns' game - will definitely stay at the Wyndham.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 23No free parking
One thing NOT disclosed when booking this room was the parking. The ONLY parking available through the hotel was valet and there was an automatic $19/day charge to your room to use it. If you wanted to park across the street, it too is paid and runs $10/day. The ratings were difficult to place. The room was clean, the hotel was nice but our restroom and vanity area had a strong urine smell. The appliances did not all work but the others were in good condition.
