Great value and great location

We travel to New Orleans requently and have stayed at several of the 4 star hotels but needed to scale back this visit. The Garden Inn was a pleasant surprise. It is centrally located within walking distance of the Riverwalk and Harrah's casino. We actually walked back to our hotel after a 3 hour visit to Harrah's. Mulate's cajun restaurant is also within walking distance. It was a great value and we had extra money for fine dining and gambling. We will definitely stay there again.

Great room, expensive restaurant

our room was large and comfortable, great bed. only negative was the hotel restaurant, ridiculous price for breakfast and not easy to find somewhere else within walking distance.

Great hotel, clean & offers everything. Only negative, valet parking is very slow.

Great Value But........!!!

Valet parking is terrible (responsiveness and cost) Within walking distance of other venues......maybe if you're up for the long distance (forget about it at night!) Friendlyness of staff....Average, but the lady in the grill area who bussed our table was outstanding! Cost......You better ask about hidden costs after you get excited about the advertised low internet price. Once all added up the cost is not that low.

Convenient in Every Way!

Located less than 2 blocks from the concert venue we were in New Orleans to attend. Staff were consistently attentive, courteous and helpful. The hotel felt safe inside and out at all times. Will definitely stay there again when I'm in NOLA.

There was an awful smell as you walked into the hotel that I couldn't figure out, but it was potent.

Great hotel

We stayed here for the Ironman in New Orleans. It was convenient to the French Quarter and Jackson Square, and also convenient to Hwy 90 to get up to UNO. Nice hotel, very clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel, however I specifically booked a room with 2 double beds and when we checked in at about 3:30 they had no rooms with 2 double beds. I had to get a second room because there were 4 for the room.

Good location, easy access to sites. Clean rooms. Will stay there again the next time I am in New Orleans.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. The location is perfect for any Convention Center event. Would recommend to anyone.

Great room

Very nice hotel and staff was friendly. Stayed there for the Sugar Bowl. Recommend using the parking deck located across the street not the valet parking with the hotel.

Really felt like the hotel could have at least provided breakfast for the price I paid for a room. The hotel restaurant was ok but definately not worth the prices. All in all it was a pretty good hotel with a courteous staff.
