great hotel for the money

If you're attending a conference at the convention center, you can't beat the location and cost of this hotel. It was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The only downside for me was the distance to other touristy areas of town; the area is kind of isolated from much of New Orleans night life, shopping, and entertainment. The good thing about that is it's nice and quiet at night, and you can still walk to the french quarter but it is a bit of a hike, so cabs were a necessity.

If your looking for room service for breakfast - do pick this hotel

This was a nice hotel to be by the Convention Center. The only problem I had was that they only have room service in the evening from 5pm to 9pm. No mini bar so you must go down to the lobby and purchase. This is really an incovenince if you coming in late and need water.

Excellent Choice

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable.

Great for Convention Go-ers

Just returned from a stay in New Orleans at the Hilton Garden and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel for the price. Everyone that worked at the hotel went above and beyond to make my stay outstanding, and the room was much larger and nicer than I'd originally thought. I was in New Orleans to attend a conference at the convention center, and the location of the hotel was ideal. I'm not sure if this would be the ideal hotel for Bourbon Street go-ers, but it was perfect for the conference.
