Nice Hotel

The Hilton Kauai Beach Resort met my expectation, the room where up to date. The location was great only 10 ten minutes from the airport. The only thing i did not like was the beach area, which had a lot of rocks, i would not recommend swimming. But overall i would stay there again.

Outstanding Hotel

Our stay was great! We loved our room - pasture to one side, oceanview, quiet. The staff was attentive and sincere. Even the maid service thanked us for leaving a gratuity - never experienced that before. The room was very nice with a clean, comfortable bed (a selling point). The grounds were simply lovely and that's saying a lot compared to the natural beauty surrounding the hotel. Guest Services and Activities could have been a little more detail-oriented. It would have been a treat to have a "Staff's Picks" for non-tourist activities and eateries. Most of the restaurant staff was top-notch; just suffered through a harried breakfast waitress. It was nice not to pay for on-site parking as with other hotels. Overall - wonderful!

Wonderful place to get away to

We are locals and I have to say that this was a wonderful place to get away to for the weekend. My fiancee and I really enjoyed the pools and especially the water slide. The service was excellent and the room was extremely comfortable. For us the dinner buffet was over priced so we had to venture out but the breakfast was reasonable and very yummy. All in all I would say that our stay was a 5 out of 5.

Odd Hotel

You can't swim at the beach although the pool is nice. The hotel bar is a little strange. Also the service is spotty. They made me pay 2$ for a bottle opener. They charged for every little thing. Not such a cool hotel. Not good for couples. Good for old people and familes.

Loved This Outstanding Hotel

We loved our stay in this hotel. The nightly entertainment at pool side and in the hotel lobby restaurant/bar was really a nice surprise, and excellent entertainment. Pools are well maintained, and the beach is a very short and safe stroll away. Our room was very clean, with cushy bedding and firm mattress, access to a personal deck, and plenty of room. We are anxious to return for a longer stay next time.

Nice Hotel

The only real problem is the hidden cost of the stay. We were charged $13 a day for parking and the use of the pools. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beach was very rocky, but people were surfing. Very good beach for walking. No other hotels within the next several miles.

"Great Room"

The hotel was beautiful with well kept grounds and 3 fantastic pools that were never crowded. While the room was on the small size(garden view), the bedding was luxorious. A bonus was the free happy hour down by one of the pools nightly. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel

We stayed there on our last day of our 8 day trip to Kauai. The room was so comfortable, the many pools were awesome and the surroundings were beautiful. Overall it was a great stay for an excellent price.

Better than I thought

It was very quite therefore a great place to relax. The people at the hotel take care of their guests. The rooms were clean and up to date. the only concerns i had were that our elevator was broken and never fixed and the valet service was slow.

Great Hotel

The recently renovated rooms were fantastic, the service was great, and overall I'd recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the beautiful island of Kauai. My one complaint is that the beach at this hotel was not suited for surfing, swimming, or laying out as it is filled with large rocks and coral. Since there are numerous other beaches nearby this was not a big deal to us, but might be for some people. Plus the 4 pools (with waterfalls) + 2 hot tubs + 1 water slide provide plenty of aquatic fun for people of all ages.
