Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 89Not Worth it at all!
We switched our hotel for the more expensive Riviera Hotel and I really regret it. We were staying at the Stratosphere where we were well taken care of and were given a great room. Friendly staff and great premises. We were staying 3 more nights so we figured why not trying someting else. More money so must be better RIGHT!? WRONG WRONG WRONG! The Riviera was a disappointment beyond belief. The staff is unfriendly and really shows you that they could not care less about you being there unless you have millions! The room they gave us was not cleaned since September 2009 and after calling and calling finally got another room. Little did I know that I would have to call from 10am to 3pm the next day before we can have our room. I was sacerd to call again because they made you feel so bad! The hotel has great potential and in the end we were grateful to get a clean remodeled room but this took time away from our precious vacation time. Will not stay there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 89Appears to be a good value but not really
This hotel is on the north end of the strip where there is not much happening. Cab fair to the center of the strip is pricey. The signature room was clean and remodeled, but the toilet ran continuously and the safe did not work. When I called the front desk I could not get through so I went down and they said they would fix it and it never did get fixed. I just ended up getting the run around from them. My room tripled in price once I upgraded from the room I reserved through hotels.com which was not remodeled. For the same price I could have stayed at the center of the strip and saved a lot of money in cab fair. Overall service was poor.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 89Older hotel/casino, but great for the money
The only problem we had was on the last night before checkout, our room was not made. We asked for a fresh set of towels and the maid interpreted that as to not make the room. We just wanted new towels since they had not made our room yet. Language issue.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 89Unexpected
We found a great deal for a room on a saturday night and decided to have a little "Staycation" since we are Vegas locals. Apparently there was a teachers convention in town and we arrived to find the line to check into the hotel at about a two hour wait. After my wonderful husband decided to stand in the line while I lost some money on the slots, we finally checked in almost three hours after he got in the line. The nice lady at the registration desk kindly upgraded us to a petite suite for our trouble. The room was super clean but the walls were very thin. It took us a little while to fall asleep cause a neighbor had a cold and coughed all night. Not a negative thing about the hotel though. The beds were very comfortable. Slots didn't pay that well, but that could of just been my bad luck. It was nice to have slots of fun and circus circus across the street for some additional fun.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 89Good bang for the buck, but hard to get to the center of the strip
The hotel itself was nice enough. It seems recently remodeled with new furnishings (ipod-ready radio, flat-screen tv) but it's kind of out of the way on the strip. Since it's on the edge of the strip, it was hard to get transportation to the center of the strip because there's no grand entrance like other hotels on the strip. If you want to catch a taxi, you have to go out back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 89Overall
Overall this Hotel was clean and the services were satisfactory. The only faults are they advertise 24hr buffet ( reality is only Breakfast & Lunch)and the "coupons" advertised they no longer offer.
