Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 36Older hotel
This is a decent, well located, older hotel. Staff was always pleasant, rooms were clean and bed was really comfortable. Just keep in mind that is an older style, one-off hotel and not a new hotel that is part of a large chain. With that in mind, I would recommend it if that is what you are looking for.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 36Brilliant hotel!
It is clean, friendly, and efficient. When I asked for some restaurants nearby for either seafood or pasta, a fantastic place was recommended, The hotel even gave me a note that as a customer of the hotel, I could get 20% discount! On the 2nd day of the stay, it was raining, at the front desk, I was asked whether I need an umbrella (without me asking for one!). They had many umbrellas for customers. I loved this hotel. The only thing that I personally did not need was some sort of scent (a spray?) when I checked into my room. I do need any strong smell or any chemicals. Otherwise, this would have been perfect! Thanks for all the hospitality.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 36Comfortable and Convenient
Greatl location, helpful staff. We arrived, walked into our room and decided to upgrade to the executive suite from the double-queen. The staff were patient, helpful, cordial, and efficient. In less than five minutes we were on our way to the new room. While the additional cost of adding another guest to our room on top of the upgrade was a bit unnecessary in my mind, the space and comforts are still excellent. I heartily recommend, especially if you are staying for 3 or more nights since the kitchenette (stove, sink, microwave, fridge, dishes, coffemaker, etc.) and the small dining area are perfect for longer stays - get some groceries and chill.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 36decent for a last-minute trip
Visiting McGill, so location was good for that reason and is right by the metro and it is easy to walk to Parc to catch the bus to Outremont and the Plateau, but we were surrounded by 18-year-olds from the States and Ontario visiting Montreal to drink. Hotel is clean, decor a bit dated, the staff are friendly, and the view from the rooftop pool is quite nice.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 36Nice hotel, Great location
This hotel locates in a very nice area, two blocks away from McGill University, close to the metro and train stations. I am happy with the customer service, the people at front desk are very helpful, when I checked in, the gentleman gave me a map and showed me how to get to old Montreal, the map was very helpful during my stay. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel would be great if they can improve two things, one is to wash the shower curtain more often, it has the sweat smell. Another thing is to update the equipments in the fitness center, the treadmill is very outdated. Nonetheless, considering the hotel rate, this is a good choice.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 36Construction in Nearby Building
Overall, enjoyed the hotel. Unfortunately, and probably beyond the hotel's control, construction started at 7:40am Saturday morning on a nearby building. Construction consisted of what sounded like jack hammering. Management on site did their best to stop the noise until a later hour.

All the staff were very helpful. It's on a great location. You can walk to any place you need to go in downtown montreal.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 36Easy, clean, comfortable, convenient
Nice hotel in a very convenient downtown location. Room was comfortable and clean. Had a kitchenette with a stove (though this was built in a closet, which meant less closet space than would be needed for a few people). Metal keys with the room number stamped on the key rather than security cards, so be careful not to lose the key. Cheaper than any other hotel in the area, but entirely satisfactory for my needs.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 36Good hotel, for the price
Convenient location to downtown area while it's not the noisy and crowded. Good clean room/facility. The only problems I have is that the internet access is not free (about $6 per day after tax). Other than that, I think it's a nice hotel.
