I would stay here again

Everyone on thes staff was couteous and friendly. Check in was fast and efficient. Room was clean without lingering odors. Even numbered rooms look out over the river and in the distance the interstate with an old fashion drawbridge just in front of us. The lounge staff were nice and friendly but not hovering. The breakfast buffet was standard. Nothing was bad but the hot meal at 10.99 seemed limited. The staff did their job well. Whenever I asked a staff member anything they were polite and quick to answer me. I would stay here again.

Good price, decent location

Went for the SEC tournament which was held at the St. Pete Times Forum. They ran a shuttle which was nice but there wasn't a whole lot else around. About a mile+ walk to get to anywhere fun. Other than that not a bad hotel at all and you can't beat the price.

Great room for the money

Only bad thing was that we had to wait about a half an hour for the front desk guy to find my reservation. Got it from here, but they had to call hotels.com and get confirmation. Besides that it was pretty comfortable, a great price, and only about a nice 20 minute walk from the Convention Center. Plus there's a bus that goes right by there on weekends that will take you to anywhere around town for just a quarter.

Rockin' Hotel

Good room for the money. Lobby was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. Was in town for a concert at the Forum and location was excellent.(Pearl Jam rocks!)

Not really Channelside

Plan on paying for parking on top of your hotel rate. Also, the breakfast at the hotel is HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money. As far as location this hotel is not really in the Channelside district. You will have to drive to get there. It isn't far but for sure is not in walking distance. Overall it wasn't bad. It was located near enough things to do that we stayed occupied the entire trip. I would stay there again if I was in Tampa.
