Omni Chicago Hotel

So many hotels downtown, go ELSEWHERE

I'll start off by saying that when I pay a lot for a hotel, I demand a lot. Omni falls short. From the check in staff having a little attitude, to the room not looking at all like the pics, cleanliness being so/so, to the part that ruined my stay. The bed was horrible! I couldn't sleep at all on it, lumpy, old, just not up to par. For a hotel at this price, I expect a lot more. I will not return here, and recommend people reading this to go elsewhere. There are hotels in downtown that will appreciate your business.

LOcation, location, location

You couldn't ask for a better location for shopping. Walked three blocks to catch a train for the Cubs. It was a little loud with sounds of the city being right off Michigan Ave.

Favorite Place to Stay

The Omni is my favorite to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of all the location is the best for shopping on Michigan Avenue. We did get a deal on the room on hotels.com but the location of the room was very noisy. The room was right next door to the service elevator and there was a loud noise going most of the time from the roof across the street. Because the room was cheaper it was fine but we would have complained had we paid full price.

Very Nice Rooms

The rooms were very nice with a seating area and plasma tv. The beds were comfortable. Overall, we would stay here again. Only complaint was with the staff. Upon checking in , we were told our room wasn't ready and they would call us when it was. Never received a call. And when they came in for turn-down service they moved our breakfast menu to a different table and we didn't notice until the next morning when our breakfast was supposed to be delivered.

Outstanding Service

The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. My favorite were the milk and cookies which got delivered every night. I can only recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, great concierge!!!!

The Omni hotel was in a prime spot o Magnificent Mile, right in the middle os everything - a short walk to the river, Hancock Bldg, Lawry's, shopping, nightlife on Rush Street and nearby restaurants. The suites are smaller than they look online, but still offers good space.

Very nice Hotel

Large bedroom and bathroom. Sitting area nice with the bar sink area available and desk. Our room had view of Michigan Ave. All staff were helpful and courteous. Very easy to have taxi service just walked out the door. Appreciated their effort to make sure nothing left in taxi. Did not use the restaurant facility. Did use the pool and whirlpool. Was perhaps small but not busy. Appreciated the iced lemon water and fruit available there after work out. Arrived at 2;00pm, room was not available until 3;20 or so. Check in was not available for our earlier arrival. However it was a holiday weekend.

Wonderful stay!

Loved the Omni, and will stay again for sure! Every one was very helpful and friendly! The room and location was awesome! Great Bar too!

Great location

The Hotel was great and at the perfect location for shopping on Mich. Ave. The staff was really friendly and very efficent. We enjoyed our stay!

perfect location and a great hotel

Omni is on a great location, close to everything. hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. the kobe beef burger in the restaurant is the best burger i have had. their fitness center is well equipped and the indoor pool is nice too. i will be staying here again when i return to chicago in summer this year.
