Extra Mile

We arrived at 10am just hoping we could check in after our cruise. Since there was no room available in the category we had reserved, the hotel upgraded us to a suite that was absolutely beautiful for no extra charge.

Wonderful Gem in Seattle

Great boutique hotel in downtown Seattle. Although it was pricey, I enjoyed the room, the professionalism of the staff and the good location. My favorite touch was that calls in the mainland U.S. are free through their phone system. It made it much easier to conduct business. The staff was very friendly and treated me like I was their primary concern. Minuses were the fact that they had an HDTV in my room but most of the channels were not provided in HD. Also while I was there KOMO-TV 4 (ABC) was not available on their system. There were also a few things that felt like nickel and dimeing such as the $10.00 surchage for faster ethernet, and the $8.00 for small package of bath salts. All in all it was a great room, wonderful view, and good experience.

Nice place, but not so great service

I am a business person and needed online access and the hotel personel was never able to help me get online. I ordered room service and had another service request that required 3 calls to the front desk to get done. The Four Seasons this hotel is NOT.

Ultra-Modern Hotel 1000

Hotel 1000 is an ultra-modern hotel in a great location in downtown Seattle. The service was exceptional and the room very clean and comfortable. The all glass bathroom was a bit much, but very functional. The only improvement I would suggest is a better showerhead with more pressure. It was very difficult to rinse ones hair of shampoo.

Location for Sightseeing is Great

Travelling with young children we requested adjoining rooms for children and adults when we made the reservation. When we arrived no adjoining rooms or even rooms on the same floor so one adult had to stay with the chilren in their room. Everything else about the hotel was great, could walk to all the downtown attractions with young children.

Attention to detail beyond expectation

Unless you pay an arm and a leg for top level rooms facing Elliot Bay, do not expect any exciting views from the windows. No worries, you will be so impressed with the modern design and incredibly meticulous attention to detail in the room itself that the view will not matter. We had a De Luxe room with two queens, outfitted with thai linen, a 42in flat panel, clever lighting, VoIP phones (with a touch screen); even the corridors (including the lobby), with carefully selected art pieces, and artistically designed signs, are quite spectacular. The kids were most impressed with the water spout for the bathtub -- I will let you find out where it is... Hotel staff was very curteous and attentive. If you dine at Boka downstairs, do not make the same mistake and combine several appetizers into a meal -- they may list like tapas, but they are not tapas; besides, it seems the chef has a better grasp on main courses. It's a pity the video feed is of average quality, and reveals horrible artifacts on the high-end Sony flat panel; an HD or near-HD feed would be so much more impressive in this setting.

Pet friendly and fabulous

We brought our three grandchildren, all under five years old, their parents, and our labrador retriever, Mosley for a quick get-away and found this hotel to be beyond our expectations. The staff is courteous and quite helpful and the rooms are terrific. Definitely the best hotel Mosely has every stayed in. The rooms are quiet - we did not hear another guest - and come with a wonderful bathtub that fills from the ceiling. The kids loved that!
