Needs Improvement

The hotel was not very clean. The cable tv was very snowy and the email that I received said that the hotel would be oceanfront and they gave us an oceanview room even after I mentioned the email. The front desk people were not very friendly, but the maintenance man tried very hard to get the television to work.

Not too bad for the price and location...

I didn't go to this hotel with high expectations, considering all of the reviews I had read. But it actually wasn't to bad at all. We had requested a fridge, which they said would be in the room. But when we got there, we only had an empty cabinet with a big hole in the drywall where a fridge was suppose to be. Keep in mind that we only paid for oceanview, but right away the maintenance guy had to come install 2 new light bulbs, instructed us that the AC only worked on high, and finally brought us an old beat up fridge the next day (better than nothing!) We stayed 2 nights for Bike Week, so we really didn't hang out in the room much other than to sleep. This hotel is definitely great for that!

Bike Week 2009

I have to say this hotel was great perfect for Bike Week 1 mile from boardwalk just far enough away where you didnt get the full blast of sound from the bikes.. the only thing that sucked was the shower the water was like needles especially for the guys in our party... other than that the beds were great the room was clean the view was perfect so was our vacation!

Great Room for the Money

Staff was pleasant and helpful. We arrived 30 minutes early for check in and didn't have to wait. Hotel was an older hotel but the rooms were clean and it was convienent having a store in the hotel. Hotel is close to everything the location was great. We would stay there again. Access to the beach and the outdoor pool area was nice.

great for the money

we went for biketoberfest. i booked online and got a terrific suite on the ocean. for what we wanted it was a great room for the money paid. convenient to main street and a quick jump over to ormond beach.

Guest did not leave a comment.

Good Hotel for the money

This hotel was a convenient hotel located right on the beach and it was a very good price also. We enjoyed staying the night there and was very overall satisfied with it.

Paying a little more would go a long way

This was the cheapest hotel on the beach, and for good reason. It was pretty much a dump, plus it was very far from the clubs and beach mall. I suggest spending a little more for a nicer hotel that is closer to the happening spots.

A bed and a shower! No frills!

Needs improvement. Not as bad as what some of the remarks I read said. I did not see and cockaroaches at all.

Needs improvement

Elevator not working. No heat in room. No fan in bathroom. Beds uncomfortable. No water pressure in shower.

Disgusting uncleanly pit

Bed was the most uncomfortable thing to sleep on ever! The room was not clean at all. The door lock broke on the second night. The toilet was broken. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend the extra money and stay at a nicer place in Daytona.

Horrible Experience

When we entered the room, the rug was wet, the towels in the bathroom were soaking wet, and the radio was on. The sliding door to the patio wouldn't close all the way, and the lock had been broken. When we spoke to the manager, he informed us they were in the process of fixing all the doors so all the rooms would have doors like that. We felt unsafe so we said we didn't want to stay the night, but he wouldn't give us our money back because we had been in the hotel over an hour. The manager informed us we should have thought twice about booking a one star hotel...

Definitely needs improvement

The location was great and the people on the hotel staff were nice. The toilet was not secure so that you had to be careful when you sat down or when you stood up. The first day we had no hot water, but they did attend to the problem as soon as we called the front desk. My biggest complaint is that there were no parking spots near our room on the last night we were there due to a parade on the main street. While I enjoyed the week, I wouldn't be inclined to stay at this hotel again.

Needs MUCH Improvement!

The AC did not work at all. The floors in the bathroom and door tile area were wet. when told about the problem the staff said we probably didn't know how to work the AC thermostat. Extremely dissatisfied.
