Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 4View was horrible
Although the World Marriot is very well maintained for a hotel that has been around, there is a little more to be desired. There is nothing they can do about the low ceilings in the rooms that makes you feel somewhat closed in, however, the renovation made in 2005 makes up for it. I didn't like the fact that I was facing a roof top, overlooking a parking lot. The balcony did no justice, when you are opening the sliders to nothing but a loud a/c sound (I believe I was right on top of a main unit) Vacation is not a vacation when your view reminds you of a factory to say the least, I would have preferred to have a view of the lobby at a minimum. The breakfast that was included was well worth it. It was well maintained, the cooks, and waiters were very friendly and there was a good variety to pick from. side from the view, low ceilings, I would recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 4Great Pool
The employees are great and the pool is out standing the only draw back is the rooms and the parking. The rooms are very small so it will be uncomfortable for more than 2 people, they were clean. The parking is either valet or self , either way you have use up to an hour to get something out of your car if you forget it while unpacking..

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 4Reguest refrigerator for long stay - all drinks are expensive!
We stayed for one week with 2 teenagers - pool w/slide,arcade room and great gym. Food and drinks very high so if your a soda drinker or prefer bottle water request refrigerator in room to keep drinks purchased from local stores off Marriott hotel grounds. Go to perimeter outlet mall - great cost on Ralph Lauren polos or Lacoste much bigger outlet mall then one in Destin,FL. Pool side balcony on 9th floor was a great front center view of lushous landscape & pool entertainment. Small balcony, but good for coffee!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 4Beautiful Hotel, Outstanding Service
The moment you walk into that hotel you know you are treated with the respect you deserve. Unlike other tourist area hotels that bait you in my jazzy photos or points of attraction only to dissapoint, the hotel really came through on the the way it looked in the photos, and the service was splendid. If you order room service, it is fast and the food is absolutely above expectations. The In Room Dining option was absolutely wonderful because it saves time and a hassle from leaving the hotel. * A note to those who are extremely frugal or cheap; do not go to this hotel and expect not to tip. There is valet parking, and a host of other services that require a handsome price and tip. In short, this is a wonderful hotel for the price, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a little luxury, without the hectic hassle of other Orlando hotels.
