Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 13Great for Price, but thats about it.
If you are just trying to go to New Orleans and do not care about the hotel this is the place you need to stay. It is extremely cheap, but it still provides good service, and the rooms are not bad. The only problem with our room was that the matress was extremely hard, but we only stayed for two days so it didnt matter. We went during Mardi Gras and the rates were still low and it is about a ten min. drive from burbon st. which they have a shuttle that is 8 dollars each way. This hotel deffenitly was not disney world, but it was way better than your average motel. I would compare this location more to a Holiday Inn.

This motel is not in the best area of New Orleans. It is under reconstruction post Katrina. The desk hosts were not at all friendly or helpful. The room was just "alright". It wasn't anything special. Basic ammenties were provided (i.e. coffee pot, hair dryer, iron.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 13Not too bad
The hotel wasn't too bad. The staff was very friendly and I felt safe staying there. There is a great taco truck that parks in the lot next door that has amazing food. The quesadillas were to die for, and it was really nice to have this place downstairs. My one major complaint is with the noise levels in the hotel. The walls and doors are pretty thin and you can hear people in the hallways like they're standing on the end of your bed. Other than that it wasn't too bad. If you're looking at this review, you are most likely not going to be spending much time in your hotel anyways.

This motel is quite cheap and a little far out of town but a cab in isn't too expensive.

The hotel was very convenent to the interstate, but the parking was very limited and had very small spaces for your car. The room was clean, but the air conditioner did not work and was noisy. The neighborhood was post Katrina and did not look like much had been done to improve it. But, if you are looking for a cheap place just to sleep, it is O.K.

I will never book with Super 8 again. They gave my room away and I'm still fighting the charges.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 13Would stay again
The people at this hotel could not have been nicer and really went out of there way to make sure we had everything that we wanted. I do have to say that it was not in the safest part of town, but they had a lot of security and really kept an eye out for everyone. It was a short drive into the city and a cheap cab ride home. I would stay there agan!! Its a perfect place to sleep if you are planning on not spending a lot of time in your room and just want to party!!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 13Great Room For the Money
Great location. The staff was helpful and really nice. Had a fridge and worth the money. It was off the beaten path so it was quiet. Only issue if you dont have a car there is only a dominos that will deliver to the hotel. Nothing else closer. Still delivery was quick and enough food to last. Would use again if had a rental car. Great Hotel

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 13Cheap and Nice
This hotel is a close drive to the French Quarter and a whole lot cheaper than staying in the the French Quarter. The hotel was clean and quiet. It is in an industrial neighborhood but if you rented a car, I suggest you save your money that you would have spent on a fancy hotel and use it for fun activities while in NO. I would stay here again!!

The hotel has a security guard and there are also security cameras in the parking lot.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 13great room for the money
It was a little farther from downtown then I expected. It is about $16 by cab to the french quarter. Nonetheless, I still spent less then I would have staying within walking distance. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. Over-all it was a great room for the money.
