Great inexpensive alternative

The hotel was clean, as was the room. A/C also worked really well! We were on the far side of the hotel form the water heater so it took about 2 minutes to get hot water-but nothing too crazy. The staff, however, was fantastic. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and upon being asked if we were visiting New Orleans for the first time, were given a city map. The woman at the desk proceeded to explain areas of the city and major attractions as well as parking rules, etc and public parking locations. Overall, we spent 2 nights for the price of 1 night at a low quality hotel in the city and all we had to do was drive 20 minutes--totally worth it!

I wasn't thrilled by the surrounding area or the parking in the hotel. It was ok for the price.

worth the money

better inside than it looks from outside. 5 minutes from fq by car if traffic is not so bad. frendly receptionist. room was relatively spacious. if you cannot find a hotel in fq, this is the one you may want to consider.
