Great hotel with a romantic ambiance throughout. The only drawback is the cost of parking which is $35 a night,

We chose this hotel for a four-day "long weekend." We decided to forego a rental car, and did not regret the decision. Pike's Market and the surrounding shopping area are an easy walk. We stayed on the Puget Sound side of the building, which provides spectacular views, including two Celebrity cruise ships that called at Seattle during our stay. The gas fireplace was a welcome touch, as was the breeze off of the Sound. Do it: You won't regret it!

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 26Outstanding hotel - chic - dog friendly
This was the best vacation experience. The hotel is beautifully appointed, convenient to downtown Seattle (Pike's Place, etc.) and dog friendly. The Edgewater made the entire experience one to remember. There is no better feeling than to enjoy a relaxing vacation in a beautiful hotel and to have comfort in the fact that our dog was welcome there. I recommend this hotel to everyone travelling with a dog.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 26Nice Hotel on the waterfront
We got a good deal on a nice room, one of the cityside family suites. When we checked in, we were upgraded for free to the suite. The lobby area is gorgeous, the restaurant is staffed well and the food is delicious. Our room had a distinct country feel to it--made it seem a little dated, but probably just because that's not our style. The room was spacious and clean, with two televisions, two queen sized beds, two fridges, a big modern bathroom, separate sitting area, large fireplace, and a dining table. The views were decent from our room and spectacular from the lobby/restaurant. Our only issue was a problem with our door keys--not sure what the actual problem was, but it took four separate visits from the engineers and multiple trips back and forth to the lobby to get our cards "rekeyed" which did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. Eventually I believe we were given brand new card keys and they worked. It was pretty frustrating, regardless of how polite and apologetic they were. However, overall I would still highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 26Amazing Hotel
The view was unbeatable and the restaurant was top notch. We didn't have better food anywhere than we did at the Edgewater Restaurant 6-7. Everything was fresh, organic and delicious. The room was a bit smaller than we thought it would be, but it was adorable, the bathroom was beautiful and the beds were so, so comfortable. We will definitely stay here when back in Seattle.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 26Great location
The hotel has a great location and is very family friendly. No doubt that it would be best to get a waterfront room to really have the best experience of the place. Rooms are small, but overall, a lovely stay. The restaurants are very pricy.

We booked the city side of this hotel but when we arrived they upgraded us to the water view and it was fabulous! The room was very lovely and totally a Northwest theme! Great location and everything was just a few minutes to walk to, the Piers, Aquarium, Ferry Boats, and the famous Pike Place Market! The service was excellent and I would hihgly recommend this hotel and we are planning on going back! Susan

The Edgewater was an outstanding hotel. The service was 2nd to none. The room was clean and comfortable with a very cozy feeling. The lounge and restaurant has an awesome view of the ocean. Great food and great atmosphere. I will definately stay at the Edgewater during my next visit to Seattle.

We loved staying here. Its more like a lodge than a high end hotel. We were upgraded to a room with balcony and enjoyed the harbor view. The deck could use some paint. The bed was very comfortable and you couldn't ask for better service. We had dinner(half meal, 3 scallops, risotto & asparagus) and breakfast (2 eggs, 2 delicious fat sausages, potato patty, fried tomato wedge & toast) in the restaurant. It was all good. Great view of water(also outside tables). The free bus is practically in front and will take you to Pike Market and Pioneer Square. If you walk a couple blocks NE there's a Spagetti Factory Restaurant and a Subs one block uphill after that. Anthonys is also close in the other direction. The Clipper Victoria was next door, very convenient for our early morning departure to Victoria. We got a good rate through hotels.com, probably wouldn't pay rack rate.

We loved the Edgewater. The only downfall is no where did we read about the $30 fee for parking. Breakfast was very delicious. On the land side there is a train track with frequent trains, the windows are pretty sound proof however. We would definately stay there agian.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect- within walking distance to many of Seattle's top tourist locations. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the view from the room is incredible! I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family members. Well worth the cost.
