Great room for the money

Great room, very comfortable. Only 2 minor problems, the light outside my front door was blown making it very dark at night when entering. Second, during check in, clerk ran my credit card again after I specifically told him that the room was paid for. At check out they reversed the charges and appologised. Make sure you do not get charged twice. I will be using this hotel again.

Good room for the price

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable for the rate I paid. The surrounding neighborhood was safe and the location allowed easy access to downtown Chicago.

Needs Improvement

Called hotel for directions could not understand because she could not speak English well enough. Bought map and found it my self. Later asked for directions yo another location were given wrong directions again had to research it myself. Their wireless internet didn't work.

* The woman who checked me in was very pleasant and very helpful. She changed my room because the TV didn't work properly * Limited TV viewing & offered stations not all available * Internet connection weak , slow & sptty at best * Microwave did not work, no fruit for breakfast

Okay - nothing to write home about...

Didn't pay much in comparison to other hotels in area. Didn't expect much. Wasn't dissappointed. Didn't exceed any expectations. Room was clean.

A solid "two out of five"

Mediocre to sub-mediocre. The bathtub was filthy and we only got one bottle of shampoo (which I'm pretty sure was hand-soap) for the whole weekend. The shower-head was not attached to wall, the bathtub didn't drain well, and the carpet was patched with another square of carpet that was a completely different color. Also, the walls were quite thin, and it was not difficult to hear others' conversations. I should also point out that the continental breakfast is hardly worthy of being called a breakfast. Considering it was relatively cheap, however, I'd say it's stay-able. All these things are somewhat minor - sort of comically inconvenient. If you want to save some money, and you aren't planning to spend much time in the hotel, this one will due for those without discriminate tastes.
