Outstanding Hotel

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations and we will go back!

Great Service, Great View

From when we were first welcomed at the guard stand, to the valets, to the entire hotel staff, we were made to feel welcome. Everyone was friendly and eager to please. The beds were very comfortable, and the view was spectacular. The room was a little small, but we did not stay in it much. Food is expensive but was plentiful and well prepared. The hotel is a little difficult to get to with all of those "no left turns." But it sits at the end of a lovely road and has the feeling of being a little exclusive.

Value for Money

Got a discounted rate and was expecting the place to be under renovation and the pool closed. When we got there, we didn't notice any workers, and both pools were open. The place showed age in some places but remodeled in others. The room was very nicely decorated and redone, a little on the small side. We were overlooking the ocean, couldn't have been more pleased. The elevators were SLOW (only 2 working), avoid breakfast and checkout times. Parking was expensive and the spots were very tight. Location was excellent, the beach was amazing with plenty of room.

Excellent value for Maui

The location on the beach: excellent. Were upgraded to an ocean front. The view was spectacular. We stayed only 1 night after a week in a timeshare. Glad we saved it to the end as it was a nice finish and well worth it. The hotel is old, but nicely renovated. The elevators were extremely slow, only 2 in service. Be prepared to wait during morning. Parking was limited and very tight and parking fee was high!

Great hotel for our first night in Maui

We had an excellent stay, and the room was clean, comfortable and up to date. Recommended for anyone looking for affordable comfort.

Outstanding Hotel

The hotel staff was extremely hospitable. Our suite was very beautiful and in excellent condition. I would higly recommend The Royal Lahaina to anyone visiting Maui. Upon arrival to The Royal Lahaina Resort; the gate keeper(a native Hawaiian) gave us a royal welcome. The Hawaiian people could teach those on the main land on how to welcome and treat their guests. The Royal Lahaina staff definite have the aloha spirit.

Nice

This hotel was very nice and extremely well maintained. The only complaint would be the resturant in the htel itself. The food was alright but was very overpriced as well as the service was far below expectations. It took us over two hours to get a burger with fries. The staff in the rest of the hotel was amazing, they would bend over backwards and help with every question and need. they were awesome. I wil stay there again the next time I visit the island.

Great taste in decoration.

Loved the flat screen TV. Very clean and the staff were very nice. We were very impressed with the decoration inside the room. Great taste. The sheets very clean. We highly recomend this hotel to anyone who asks. We'll be back!!!!
