Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 15Great hotel in Tokyo
My wife and I figured to splurge a bit upon arriving in Japan for a two week vacation. Spent the first 3 nights at the Keio Plaza in Shinjuku. This was a great choice! Having lived in Japan for 5 years, I was prepared for the small rooms, etc. but the Keio's rooms are spacious and the view is fantastic. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from Shinjuku station and located in a great neighborhood. Pricier than a 'Business Hotel', but well worth it as you recover from a long trip.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 15Fantastic Location! Wonderful lounge!
Across the street from the Municipal Gvt Building which has a free observation deck on the 45th floor--outstanding views. Live music and great service in the hotel's own 45th floor lounge. Other dining options very expensive--ate in surrounding locales.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 15awesome
The rate we got was excellent for the service we got, the location of the hotel, and the comfort. Getting there is easy with Aiport Limousine Bus that runs often. The staffs are very friendly. The room size was a good size, even with three people staying in the same room. The location of the hotel is EXCELLENT. I love Shinjuku, lots of food & shopping & near the metro, and its all walking distance from the hotel. They also have a free disney bus right from the hotel, so no need to figure out your own way using the metro (and changing trains) and spend the money for it. Overall, if you are looking for a convenient, comfortable, and affordable hotel, you should consider Keio Plaza Hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 15Wonderful Experience
We booked two rooms, one for ourselves and one for our three "kids", ages 21, 20 and 18. We are farily well traveled and enjoy staying in nice accomdations while on vacation. All 5 of us agreed, unanimously, that the Keio Plaza was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in as a family. The staff were extremely accomodating, the room service was excellent, the rooms were tastefully decorated and surprsingly, very spacious, the views from our rooms were absolutely breathtaking, and the convenient access to the subway, located just outside one of the hotel's side entrances made getting around the city an absolute breeze. The downside of the Keio Plaza is that the food in the hotel restaurants is way overpriced. Luckily, the hotel is just a stone's throw away from a myriad of affordable restaurants (some of them with very nice ambiance)featuring all kinds of cuisine (i.e., Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indian, Italian, French, Jaimacan, et al)...the other downside of the hotel is the television selection. Although we spent very little time in the hotel during our 8-day stay, a microwave and satellite t.v., which provides a greater variety of news channels, would have been nice. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would look forward to staying at the Keio Plaza if we were to return to Tokyo.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 15Great service and very friendly!
The staff at the Keio Plaza was great. Our first day in Tokyo we asked for a great ramen place and the concierge gave us a "noodle map" that had recommended places. During the entire stay the staff was friendly and accommodating. Also, the hotel is in a great location within walking distance to Shinjuku Station, the government building, and lots of other great places. I would definitely recommend.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 15The service is superb
The staff is great. Minutes after arrival, I realized I had left my backpack inside the airport shuttle bus. I ran to the lobby and just said "I left my stuff in the bus." Before I finished the sentence, a doorman ran toward the next expected stop of the bus. Another person followed me, while communiting with the first using a walkie-talkie to give a description of the backpack. She assured me that they would retrive it and that I could stay inside the hotel. Minutes later, they came back with my backpack. The best service of the best.
