For the Money

The room was ok for the money no problems or complaints. The only thing that went wrong was there is only 2 elevators and 1 end of the hall. Unfortunely our room was at the end of the hall with no elevator so we had to walk to the other end to get on every time. The jacuzzi was out at the hotel for renevations at the time so that was a bummer. Other than those two things it was great. I would recommend and stay there again.

At Least the AC Works

To put it plainly, the Ramada Plaza Nags Head Beach should be a last resort when choosing a hotel in the area. The building is old, poorly maintained, dirty and smells of cigarettes, chlorine and sea water. Be wary too of "ocean view" rooms. As realistically only rooms on the 3rd floor or higher will have an ocean view. The 1st and 2nd floor guests will be staring at a sand berm but paying the ocean view rate.

Oldie but goodie

It's an older hotel and you can tell, but in good condition and very clean. The room was a bit small, but we had our own balcony overlooking the ocean, and could watch the sunrise over the Atlantic from our bed.

Fair Maintenance

Positives -It had an ocean view which was nice at sunrise and the moon shining on the water. There was lots of construction around but we did not hear the noise. Great location. Negatives- We stayed in a king room that was too small. The bathtub was chipping some kind of paint but it was clean. Some of the wall paper was peeling off. Jacuzzi was more of a bubble bath with extra Foam floating in it. FYI- if you are planning on going off season (Jan-March), there are NOT alot of restaurants open. The front desk was knowledgeable about what places were open and where to get good food.

beatiful location, outstanding services

loved the location with room overlooking the ocean, perfect place for quiet walks on the beach and private balcony was great. very relaxing.

Nice Hotel

Over all the Hotel was a nice place to stay. The only issue I had was, we had a non smoking floor and the day we were leaving, our bathroom just reaked of cigarette smoke. It was coming through from apparently another room.This was not the Hotels fault it was the fault of an individual that didn't follow the hotel rules or consideration for others. My group and I were not fond of the feather pillows, but once again that is a personal prefernce.

Nice Location on beach

Hotel is dated and tired. Pool had insufficient towels and too many young children in hot tub. Beautiful beach.
