Good hotel for the money

The room was fine if you are just spending a day or so. It was OK. The shuttle service was not good however. Prior to my arrival at the airport I had asked how to specifically get the shuttle to the hotel. They told me to call from the house phone at the airport. Well, their number was not listed on the house phone and when I called from my cell. I did not get an answer. After 30 min of trying, I ended up taking a taxi. $15.00 later I was at the hotel, very tired and frustrated. Their comment: oh, I didn't know there was a problem with the phone. No apologies whatsoever. Other than that, the room was OK, nothing special, but doable.

Needs improvement

Hotel was older and could use significant maintenance. Was told they were a 3-star hotel but it was not, more like 1.5 stars. Continental breakfast was very limited and bagels were stale at 7 in the morning. I would not recommend this hotel given the other options in the area.

Intresting Hotel

Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning but I was very impressed in what I saw.

adequate room for the money

it was adequate, the room had a smell when we first arrived, but after opening the window, was fine-- and the shuttle got me to the airport on time, which was the main objective of staying there

Awful

It was terrible, never go there. They gave us the card to get in the room and somebody was already in there. It was dirty, nasty, and gross in the room. The water was gross and the beds were terribly uncomfortable.

I've never stayed in such a rundown hotel. On the way to my room I rode in an elevator that was torn up, only 1 of the 16 something light bulbs worked, and the roof was loose. Upon attempting to enter my room, I had to have my key card reprogrammed twice. Once i finally got into my room, I was overwhelmed with a horrible musky stench. I then removed my comforter on my bed to rest, to find that there was no bottom sheet on my bed. I then turned on the tv to find the reception fuzzy. In addition the tv volume had a mind of it's own, and the remote didn't work. I then turned the light off, to find that the tv doesn't work with the lights off. So I decided to call it a day and go to bed, setting the alarm clock, I realized the speaker on it didn't work, making it non functional as a wake up device. This is by far the worst hotel experience I've been through.

Needs improvement

Room smelled of mildew. We had to go to the front desk to get a king-size mattress pad and a bottom sheet that fit. Hotel was located in what appeared to be "rough" neighborhood. Management personnel were very responsive and helpful when asked to resolve issues.
