Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 16Great place for after the game
The hotel is beautiful, right next to the T stop for Fenway Park. The rooms were quite large, comfortable in every aspect. Anytime we go to a game we will stay here! The front desk people were exceedingly helpful.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 16What's Up With The Business Center
As a person who prefers not to travel with my laptop, I usually rely on the hotel business centers. At this hotel, not ONLY do they charge for internet access in the business center...but one of the two stations was out of service and the remaining station was so slow, I thought they had dial-up access. Either don't charge for this service or provide an internet connection that is worth the money.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 16Best location for the out-of-town Fenway Faithful
It's not cheap, but it is a great value as you are literally right around the corner and a few minutes from Fenway. Some of the upper rooms look out onto Fenway, which is quite a sight. It was like daytime out our window from all the lights, but it was great. The hotel itself is very clean, quiet and comfortable. It is on the fancier side, yet during our 3-day stay the majority of guests were in shorts and Red Sox shirts, and everyone felt right at home. Also, before arriving, be ready for a speedy turnover to the valet (remember tip money). You pull up to the door right on the street, and you need to be ready to jump out. Lots to do and places to eat within a couple minutes. T station right under the hotel. Overall, a great first experience staying right by Fenway Park.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 16Great Stay
We wanted to treat ourselves to a better hotel and this really was a treat. The only downside that I was not aware of was that we were going to be charged 39 dollars to park our car. I wish that was highlighted when we made our reservation.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 16Outstanding hotel. Highly recommend
This hotel is in a great location. T is right next door but we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to go. When we arrived we received an upgrade to two queen beds at no charge (we booked a King but had wanted two queens). The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean, very comfortable. It was quiet. We couldn't hear street noise or other people in their rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 16Great stay
Thoroughly enjoyed 5 days at the Commonwealth. Rooms were comfortable, beautifully decorated, and wonderfully quiet. Room service didn't quite finish one day (trash not emptied, fresh towels missing), but this was remedied quickly and with apologies. Absolutely no other complaints - we hope to visit again.

Located in the Fenway Park, Kenmore Square area of Boston, this hotel it the best!! There is a subway stop right out the door of the hotel. Absolutely spotless hotel; everything superclean. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Boston!

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 16Good Experience...
The Hotel Commonwealth was excellent except for the following: 1) Shortage of double bedrooms. Provided cots were not a suitable substitute. The rooms were Kenmore rooms were somewhat small. 2) Late night noise due heavy and loud door closing may interupt your sleep. Also, make sure that your room is not next to the workout facility if you want to sleep late. 3) Room cleaning could have been better with daily vacuuming. Bathroom floors needed to be swept on a daily basis. 4) The mini-bar was overpriced. $6.00 for a bottle of water!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located for Boston University, Fenway Park and access to the subway.
