The Roosevelt, a Coast Hotel

Very good experience

We had a great expereince. We needed to check in early and were fortunate that there were two rooms avaialble. Even better we were upgraded to jacuzzi suites so the value was exceptional.

Lovely hotel

Great rooms, walking distance to Pike's Market, and major department stores. Breakfast is not included, however Starbucks is just across the street. Price is right for the central location.

Historic Hotels are what they are

Overall, the hotel was reasonally clean, easy to find, with a great, great, great location. I found parking to be easy and convenient w/ use of valet service. The only negative comment I have is that the lobby and overall "fragrance" of the hotel is kind of like my grandmother's apartment. Not offensive, but just not a "fresh" sent you might expect in a hotel. Even an old one. But especially a "Coast" hotel. A really deep clean might be in order to get hard to see-reach corner dust, etc. that might contribute to that fragrance. I will stay again. The price and location was great for a suite room! Internet access was also easy.

Great Find

Paid what we considered a great rate for a downtown hotel and were pleasantly surprised to be given a suite. Happy hour at connected restaurant outstanding ambiance/value.

Neat hotel

The Roosevelt is an old hotel with character. It may not be fancy or updated but it is in a great location. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were extremely helpful and incredibly polite and friendly. I do think it was overpriced.

Excellent Seattle Location

This was a nice hotel in an excellent location with a price much better than those in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Would come back

Pros: close to shopping and restaurants,5-8 minute walk to Pike Place Market and museums, nice rooms, computer with free internet access in lobby, very knowledgeable/helpful staff, rental cars available around the corner if you want to take a day trip. Cons: breakfast not included but restaurant next door (not very good!), lower floor rooms are not very private.

Needs new furniture

The chairs in the room were wobbly and had burn marks on them. Over all the room was quiet and I loved the location.

Good Economical Choice Downtown

Room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Public areas clean and well maintained. Employees I encountered were very pleasant and professional. Located across the street from Pacific Place Mall if you are a shopper. Pikes Place Market 7 blocks away. Belltown which is a nice place to hang out in the evening is about a 10 block walk or short cab ride away.
