Outstanding Hotel

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room very clean and nice. The shuttle service really helped us to catch the train from the airport station. Overall, a fantastic hotel!

Verify where they put you.

Don't let reception put you in the part of hotel across the parking lot. It is an extended stay building with no AC, residents playing music and horrible rooms. Think college dorm. Demand the main building which is nice for the price. Parking is CHF 22 per day!

Great Shuttle Service

Great place to stay if you are flying out of Zurich. We arrived at the airport by train from Lausanne and took the shuttle to the hotel and cheecked in, took the shutle back and a train into downtown and then back to the hotel once again as well as a promt ride to the airport in the morning.

Great Airport location

Hotel is nothing special but if you want to be close to the airport for an early flight this place is great. Free shuttle runs frequently. Food and drinks very expensive. Wanted 33 euros (about $45US) per person for buffet breakfast. Yes, that's right! Airport is about 10 minutes away and lots of other food choices. Cheapest bottle of wine was way more than I would spend. They even charge for a morning newspaper. WiFi in room was about $25 hour. Free computers in lobby but someone always seemed to be using it. Near train for a quick run into Old Zurich.

Great Hotel

The room was quite standard. We were staying here to catch an early flight the next morning. Their free shuttle started to run at 5:30am which was OK with us. Dinner at the hotel was quite nice and in line with Swiss prices. We were greeted with champagne in fluted glasses at check-in. Nice touch! Norma

Convenient, Friendly, Great Hotel

The location is perfect for the airport, and the hotel shuttle runs every 15 minutes. You can get to the airport, and catch the train from there that will take you right to the center of Old Zurich - why stay in one of the over priced hotels in that area? The staff was very accomodating, and the restaurant was excellent.

Great Hotel, Even Greater Staff

The hotel was more than we expected - very modern, well decorated, ideally located. The staff paid attention to every detail, including noticing that the day we checked in was also my birthday - they presented me with a bottle of champagne and gave us an upgraded room on the top floor at no cost. The restaurants range from the casual garden to the more upscale, all with well prepared and beautifully presented choices. We had stayed in a hotel closer to the older section of Zurich on our original stop in the city, but should have chosen Moevenpick for both stays as the shuttle to the airport leaves every 15 minutes and from there you can catch a train for the 10 minute trip to the main station in the heart of the older section of Zurich. Moevenpick rates were substantially less than the other hotel, so the savings would more than pay for the train ride if we didn't already have a Eurail Pass. Moevenpick is the only hotel I would chose again in Zurich!

We would absolutely recommend the Moevenpick Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, transportation from and to the airport and train station was perfect and the rooms were luxurious.

Very Convenient to Airport

Great hotel for airport convenience; shuttles run frequently throughout the day. Food in restaurants is excellent but expensive. The breakfast buffet was 33 Swiss Francs per person.
