okay stay

The room and pool was great. the bar and breakfast were outstanding. The only problems i had with the hotel were the ice machines and employees. out of 3 ice machines 2 were broken. none of the employees knew where anything was located in their own hotel. most of the employees had very limited english. and the elevators were constantly needing repairs. However, all things considered, I will stay at the same place again next year.

Best Deal

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was excellent, employees were friendly and helpful, everything was in working order except our microwave which was replaced within 30 min. of reporting it. Not sure about the free drinks as we don't drink. Elevators were a little slow and in need of remodel but they worked. For the budget conscious family I highly recommend this hotel. It's a steal!!!!

The first thing i always do upon entering a new hotel is check the bed for clean sheets and bedbugs.There were long black hairs in the sheets.there was old coffee in the pot,open beverages in the mini fridge.remote didnt work hair on toilet.hot tub broken,both ice machines broken(i sprained my ankle),shuttle was 1 hour late picking us up at hotel,didnt pick us up at all at universal.We called mgmt but she was very rude.lat night of our stay we had no hot water.how can you run a hotel without hot water?

Not Recommended!

We were extremely disappointed with the hotel. Their claim to have a "Full Breakfast" is most definately false. Breakfast often consists of bacon, oatmeal, and dry cereals. Their service was extremely poor. We had so many problems, first we received a room with no air and partial electricity, then we were moved to a room with absolutely no curtains. It was one issue after another. Definately goes up on our worst hotel ever stayed in!

OK for the money

The room had a bad smell, the carpet was dirty and the air filters were laying on the floor and the pillows were just thrown on the bed.

Great location

If going to Universal Studios this hotel is really close.

Needs Improvement

The staff was rude and not friendly. On arrival our toilet was stopped up and overflowing in the bathroom. The sink was also stopped up and didn't get fixed until the next morning. Will not stay there again.

For a cheap hotel, there are plenty cheaper.

We only stayed one night and we booked a room with a king size bed, which upon check in they told us none where available. There was a giant wet spot on the carpet by the bed. There was blood spots on the bathroom wall. If you're looking for a cheap one night stay in Orlando, there are plenty of cheaper options.

Great Room for what we paid

We got an excellent deal through hotels.com and this was a great room for that amount. However, I would have been disappointed if we had paid the posted amount. It was a nice-sized suite, which allowed for parents to stay in one room and the kid to stay in the other one. It was cold when we were there (which almost never happens in FL) so the outside walk to the room was very frigid. There was a large group there when we were there and we had to fight over breakfast, but other than that, the stay was great.
