Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 104Excellent for a quick night before/after flying
After delayed flights, switched flights, etc. we were so happy to find the hotel within 5 minutes of the car rental, with a Longs Drugs on the way!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 104Good option for the price
We stayed here our first night as our condo reservation did not begin until the following day. It's definitely a no frills place but a good value for the money. If you are used to fancy, don't bother.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 104disappointed
How can a hotel in Hawaii close their pool at 6PM, and not re-open it until 9 AM the following morning. The hotel charged $5.00 additional to park on their lot, otherwiswe you had to find a spot somewhere else. They did not tell you where there might be a spot other their own lot.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 104Nice Hotel, Great Price
This was a true honest 2 star hotel. The establishment itself was somewhat dated and could have used refurbishment. However, it had its own little private beach in a very protected harbor where even little children can play (with supervision of course). The hotel itself was perfectly clean and the landscape was neatly kept. The onsite restaurant had very decent food. The hotel's location was excellent, close to other restaurants, the airport, and sites of interest. The staff was terrific in answering my questions and helping me when my wife left her shoes in the room (they had orthopedic inserts). The housekeeper helped me look and actually found the shoes. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and courtesy. In short this is a great deal for the money. Save your dollars for the great food and and sights on Maui!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 104Value for the price and location.
Older structure. Think old Motel 6, but great location for convenience to the airport and central to other destinations.Clean, great, friendly staff, easy to use laundry room including 2 ironing boards set up. Full toiletries amenities.Quiet, can hear the waves at night. Free coffee in lobby 5-7am but not that great.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 7 of 104Great Customer Service
I was thoroughly impressed with the great customer service of the hotel's front desk staff. When I shared a concern with them, their solution exceeded my expectations. I will definitely go back to this hotel just because of the excellent staff.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 104Good hotel, good location
We arrived on a late flight into Maui and this was our first night stay. It is a simple hotel but it is located close to the airport, easy to find, and clean and comfortable.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 104Good room for the Money
The Maui Seaside Hotel is much like a Motel 8 or Motel 6. My room was clean and it was conveniently located 4 miles from the airport. That was the biggest convenience for me. The people at the reception desk were very helpful. The location also allowed me to see other parts of the island quite easily.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 104Was probably very nice when it was built ... in the 60s
The Maui Seaside Hotel was what I wanted: close to the airport and (relatively) inexpensive. Also, it had a restaurant, which was convenient. I had breakfast at the restaurant, and it was quite delicious. However, the room's cleanliness was highly questionable, there was no elevator to the second floor, and the surrounding area was not vacation-friendly. If I had stayed here for more than one night or had wanted anything other than a cheap place to stay, I would have been highly disappointed. The view of the bay (if you stood on the balcony and turned sideways) certainly did not make up for the fact that the hotel seemed old and dirty. I got a reasonably good rate, and still feel like I paid too much. Wouldn't recommend.
